Unos datos curiosos de Mamamoo (por si no lo sabias): -Su empresa RBW, estaba en quiebra y cómo mamamoo era su primer grupo en debutar no tenian suficiente presupuesto, asi que mamamoo hacian su propias coreografias, se maquillaban entre ellas, sus vestuarios muchas veces eran alquilados o usaban sus propias ropas para los shows. -Para hacerse conocidas, en el principio de su debut iban a las calles a cantar (hay videos de ello). -Moonbyul audicionó como vocalista pero le dijeron que necesitaban una rapera y si queria quedarse tenia que practicar para ser una raper, asi que Solar la ayudó en su practica. Tambien, Moonbyul es la idol femenina con mas acreditaciones en la KOMCA. Y Mamamoo es el grupo femenino con mas acreditaciones. -Solar hizo mas de 50 audiciones antes de debutar, pero no la seleccionaban porque era muy mayor (tenia entre 18 y 19 años). -A Hwasa no la seleccionaban porque no estaba en el "padron de belleza" coreana, en un concierto ella contó que en una audición le dijeron: "cantas bien y tienes una voz unica, pero eres gorda y nada bonita", dijo que lloró mucho ese dia.

Definitely two underrated SNSD songs! Love them both. I totally agree. Lion Heart is such a standalone song. It really is unique but also so much a Girls' Generation song. I feel like this song will always stand the test of time. And the MV is also so gorgeous. And Galaxy Supernova is just so catchy and flashy and powerful. Love these two sides of them!

It's the Fall/Blue song and the stage of love in the project's four part relationship cycle is heartbreak. The album title is Blue;S, with S standing for Solar, the featured member on the album. As I think I've mentioned, each 4S4C album included a self-composed solo song by one of the members. Wind Flower is one the favorite songs of both Mamamoo and moomoos. When you around to live performances check out the concert arrangement, which they call the "dramatic version" for good reason. They first performed the dramatic version during their legendary 4+ hour long concerts called 4 Seasons F/W in 2019. You can find an almost complete professionally filmed video of one of those concerts and it includes time stamps for the songs in the description so you can pick and choose which song to hear without having to commit over 4 hours, tho I'd highly recommend it if you have the time. In those concerts they paired Wind Flower with No More Drama, a b-side from the Blue;S album that many moomoos thought had a better chance to be a commercial success. Wind Flower made it to the top 10 on the k-charts but wasn't really a big hit and it was the first title track in several years that didn't earn MMM a win on the music shows. Though I'm used to Mamamoo being underrated I was a bit shocked when Wind Flower was overlooked by kpop fans. Imo the song and the Blue;S album are masterpieces.

In fact, I find it interesting what they did with Under My Skin, because they mixed the songs "Mirotic" from TVXQ! and "Under My Skin" by Sarah Connor (which is basically the same song but in English and with a different chorus). And they used the English verses of Sarah's song and the choruses of TVXQ!

Right? I'm fairly impressed as well. I think it's better than every 2024 girl group debut I've seen. A bit like a blend of NMIXX' unorthodox instrumentation paired with a more rap-heavy, slightly XG-ish vocals style.
