Decalcomanie is one of MMM's best songs but isn't as well known as Hip and some of the others you mentioned. You should really check out some of the live performances. This is one of their more difficult vocal arrangements to perform but they always kill it live. A few examples include the comeback stages on the tv music shows like Music Bank, MCountdown and Inkigayo (where they did the mirror dance live), the performance on Queendom, and the rock version they did for the 2016 KBS Song Festival with future label mates Onewe as the backup band. Fyi, the actor in the MV is gay. I'm sure he had a great time but probably not for the reason you were thinking lol. As you can tell from the blatant sexual symbolism of fruit squishing and mask removal, Decalcomanie is more spicy than your typical kpop love song. Many people assume he's fooling around with all four members but that's not the case. The song is about a woman's experience of dangerous, out of control passionate feelings and the guy is simply irrelevant as an individual so they used a single actor to represent a generic male. You probably know that MMM and Red Velvet have been close friends since their rookie days but you didn't mention the songs Moonbyul and Seulgi recorded together. In case you haven't heard them, Moonbyul's solo song Selfish features Seulgi and they were both part of the temporary group Girls Next Door on a tv show called Idol Drama Operation Team. Girls Next Door released a song called Deep Blue Eyes. There's no MV but Girls Next Door did a couple of excellent performances of the song on tv music shows. 😂

Ok, thank you for explaining the background of the story/song and that actor, I appreciate it. :) It sounds really difficult to sing - I'm planning to watch their Killing Voice; I think, that they were like first participant of K. Voice, right? (they launched after K. Verse). About Moonbyul and Seulgi - do you mean SELFISH, right? I actually mentioned something like "I heard a lot of staff from solo projects of members, but I don't know too much from MAMAMOO's discography" - yeah, Seulgi is my fav from RV (she's visible on top of that shelf next to me), so I heard SELFISH; nice song, I just prefer more dark concepts which fits to Seulgi better (by my opinion).

@kpopcz_x Yeah, agree about Seulgi but it was fun seeing them do a "swag bluffing" concept, as I call it. Just wanted to make sure you knew about Selfish but I was pretty sure you did. :) Killing Voice was only for solo singers before MMM appeared on it. It's a good 15 minute intro to MMM live that includes a sampler of songs from 2014 to 2020 when the vid was filmed. You've heard at least 5 of the songs already but it's well worth watching. I recommend turning on subs so you know what they're saying at the beginning and in between songs.

Forgot to mention how they ended up being the first group on Killing Voice. Solar was bugging Dingo to let her do a Killing Verse session but they said No, you're not really a rapper ... how bout we do a Killing Voice with MMM instead? :)

I'll check MAMAMOO's tracks - thank you for your response. That MV in reaction is little bit cut on purpose - to avoid some obstacles with copyright and other issues. :)

@kpopcz_x i see, i never seen copyrights for mamamoo official mv reactions.Seen everything last 6 years. Only live awards or big tv channels in korea you need bit filter a times for copyrights. Thank you so much for your time and reactions to mamamoo.I have no doubt you will love them. Theres a fan made mamamoo documentary thats amazing complete look at everything mamamoo: "why mamamoo is most underated group in kpop." Its amazing and so interesting.
