I’m a black freshman this year at USC and I felt isolated already just thru zoom as a minority, so was helpful for what to expect when classes come back. this Do you know if there’s any clubs for black students on campus?

I'm so sorry that that was your experience this past semester at USC. Covid has really messed up a lot of things and hopefully, we'll be back on campus soon! There is a club for Black students called BSA and through that club you'll find many more orgs for Black students! Wish you all the best(:

I’m almost positive there’s some people with merit scholarships. And even without scholarships, usc gives pretty good aid the first year.

How did you pick your audition material? Did you read a bunch of plays and then pick?

Hey! They usually ask you to do opposing monologues so I looked throughout some Shakespeare plays for the classical monologues and for the contemporary ones I just looked online! Just choose monologues that best showcase you and showcase your acting ability the best. It doesn’t needs to be the most amazing or underground material, but also don’t do too well known monologues
