@Alex-cm9nr it's a overhead phone holder from Amazon that clamps to the side of the desk.

@@BaseballDemos Thank you so much. I saw a bunch of them on Amazon after your feedback. What side of the desk do you clip your on? Closest to you or across from you? I assume that its on the side of the desk? Apologies for all these questions but I am dabbling with some ideas for recording some games.

These old eyes of mine appreciate the contrast of the D20 you're using for this video. Might I suggest you continue it's use in subsequent games? It makes scoring your games sooo much easier here at home (and you know I do).

Hey David. Reason I haven't been on any lives lately is I am caring for my Mom. Her health isn't good. I have been able to play some IP. Had my 2nd no hitter yesterday. 1978 Reds Replay. Jerry Koosman. I didn't realize it till game ended. 0 hits 6 Ks but 7 walks. Reds hit into 2 DPs. 1 runner reached 3rd. Koosman was tired in the 9th. But after a leadoff walk he retired the next 3 without hitting any tired roles.
@kevinmosley178011 күн бұрын
Just curious... Are you going to use the manager cards in this replay?
@BaseballDemos11 күн бұрын
@@kevinmosley1780 No. I don't think it would be fair to the other team to just use them for the Reds. My opponents will be neutral and vanilla. Only the Reds get the Game Day checks
@brandanbaker560412 күн бұрын
Watching every one of these Dave! Love those 90 REDS (crummy result today!) That darn semi-ACE hitting the decider saved it for Houston. If you get a chance, and want to, create Billy Bates, pinch-runner extraordinaire, if it doesn't exceed your limit on roster-size. Good stuff, and thanks for doing some 1990 :-)
@BaseballDemos12 күн бұрын
@brandanbaker5604 Bayes will be created. The only batter I will not create is Terry McGriff as he only had 4 AB's. The return on time investment would not be worth it.

Baseball Demos/David. Another excellent competitive game. David, are you trying to finish this project by a certain time? Before the GOW starts? It is a great project. A different game that is very different indeed. Thanks for the play-by-play, game and video.
@bruceberkowicz642712 күн бұрын
Curious why you wouldn't use the same pregame checks for the visiting team after the first game of a series has been played? But enjoying seeing HMB. Also, my understanding is that you are not limiting Reds to their real-life at-bats and innings pitched. Is this correct? Or are you defaulting to as-played and then applying the pregame checks?
@BaseballDemos12 күн бұрын
@@bruceberkowicz6427 I am doing pregame for Reds only. If no injuries occur, then defaulting to As played. Since I am only playing the Reds, I will treat all opponents as neutral chemistry.

Baseball Demos/ David. What would be the odds of cards and Dice matching reality 45 years later? The odds would be enormous. Did that happen? You have to watch to find out. Looking forward to Strat 1987 and History Maker Baseball 1990 with the Reds being featured. Thank you, David, for all you have done in 2024. Just curious. Do you keep all your scoreboards from all the games you play?
