Is that specific attachment for the single leg squat added on to the machine or just a separate single leg stand alone piece?

Thanks for the question. Yes, No need, you can use a box or anything convenient to elevate.

Is each station’s movement the same weight? Or does weight vary according to each station’s movement?

Really enjoyed learning from Coach when he came to Memphis awhile back. I am very grateful for him making time to speak with me for a long while on concepts and application. Awesome guy!

Bill do you have an email I could contact you on? I'm currently writing a book regarding neck training. I was hoping you might be interested in adding a chapter? ?? Thanks
Very good information! Dick Butkus was a friend of Arthur jones and used his principles when training. I was reading an article on neck training which showed Dick using the exercises Arthur Jones recommended for top notch neck development. I shall link it to you. Enjoyed this video.. keep it up coach 🖒

Coach.. what are the most effective neck exercises for adding mass that you use for your athletes? Thanks 🖒
@CoachBillJacobs5 жыл бұрын
Coach, old school most cost effective and as good as anything is neck harness! Manuals also good and of course machines if budgets allow!!

Question.... Do you happen to see a large increase in Neck growth with your athletes? I enjoy watching your neck workouts.
@CoachBillJacobs5 жыл бұрын
Yes we would measure every 4 to 6 weeks To make sure they are not just going thru the motions! Encourage like with checking body weight those not seeing Change measure more often! Even before and after neck workout! Thanks great question!

The quality of the ability to use the muscles intensely through out the set determines if you need another set.

I am not sure if I understood well. Should I do just one set of neck harness?
@CoachBillJacobs12 жыл бұрын
Sets should be determined by quality. If you are contracting hard enough and continuiously throughout - ONE set should work. Traps are involved in this as well. Yes, I like putting trap work in with the neck work, as well. MORE VIDEOS ON TRAPS COMING ! Thanks for the question.

Rep range should be 15 to 25 great form and consistant contraction of the neck Thank you for the question. Sets better the first set less need for a second. 2 to three times a week Note; usually a lot of variables go into the above . This gives you a starting point.

What is the best rep range, number of sets and times per week I should work the neck?

A generous donation of time by an obvious expert giving the straight forward simple ABCs of exercises that I knew nothing about; now I have a starting point. All I can offer in return to Coach Bill Jacobs is a BIG thank you.

Variation is one of the chief components of growth! Change it up. Measure your neck top and bottom before and after a workout. It will help indicate how you are doing. Thank you for asking such a good question.

Awesome! That is what I thought. Thanks for the video, my form was terrible before.
@CoachBillJacobs12 жыл бұрын
This is best done with a light weight and very high reps. Error on the side of caution. Minimum of 15 controlled reps with each movement. Concentrating on good solid contractions of the muscles. The video should help on the form and movements. Thank you for your question.

What kind of reps and weight should I be looking at with this?
@CoachBillJacobs12 жыл бұрын
Yes in the old days we use these plus bridging and bridging with pull overs! Alot more 20 plus or minus alittle necks then you see today ! Measure your neck before and after you work out ! Should see about 1/2inch pump and over short period good growth ! Movement and contraction key! Let me know how you are doing ! Best Bill Jacobs
