So this really is set apart from a lot of other funk for me, it's relaxed and is torn between a modern chill vibe and a chill disco. Most of my other funk favorites are loud and boisterous, but this is was chill and smooth. Makes me feel like no other song honestly

Someone give me more badass groovy songs like this one! Please!
In 1983, an uncle bought a beautiful, brand new 2-door Grand Marquis and equipped it with a good Pioneer audio system. One night he took a cousin and I to dinner in that car and they were playing this song on the radio. My uncle came on. The volume and rhythm of this song, the car was driving down a boulevard, the atmosphere of the environment with the city lights and the powerful and smooth ride of the car, combined with that song, created a very special moment that I still remember very pleasantly. . beautiful times without a doubt.

It's sad but in the 2000's nobody makes good music. Good example: Where are the hit movie soundtracks? I remember when I couldn't wait to buy the soundtrack to a movie even if I didn't like the movie but now......nothing. They don't even make albums anymore. It's a 1 or 2 song release and that's it. Music is an Art. Where have all the good Artists gone? This is exactly why everybody is going to 80's concerts. Lots of songs and variety with each Artist.
