Thanks this is exactly what my car is doing, so I paid for a tow to dealer, and now I’m afraid they are going to spend days trying to find what you did in a few minutes. I fear the mechanic gauge, because I’m on a fixed budget with plenty of health bills. I don’t need someone.

Just did this fix on my wifes escape, i also didnt have the 8 pin i had the three pin transistor. As i took the hot air gun to the pins teo of the three came off and i lfited the trace on the third, luckily its still attached, and wouldn't you know it. We got sound back! Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Its nice to be able to FIX things instead of replacing everything.

Hi Rob i have th A737 on My X5 2008 4.8 but it turns off and the motor fan start at maximum speed.

I never for the life of me will understand how Def reduce emissions. It cost a lot to engineer and manufacture all the parts for them. Then you have the blue juice in plastic bags I side a cardboard jug. The kicker for me is that right now your doing the Regen so the truck is running at a time it would not be otherwise.

Anytime you have a tough one like this and you don’t trust the scan tool data for a pressure switch. Use a good set of accurate, digital, refrigerant gauges and a nitrogen tank. Because you can adjust the pressure up and down with an accuracy of 1/10 of one psi. You can watch as you dial up the pressure that the pressure transducer datastream does or does not match what the digital refrigerant gauge says. You also can get just a threaded portion for my hose repair kit hooked up to just a hose and your refrigerant gauges and nitrogen and pressure test off the car before putting them on the car . Or connected to the wiring harness as you adjust the pressure.. With refrigerant in the system, you place a very accurate clamp on type temperature sensor . In with a full charge of refrigerant, it should match very closely to the pressure temperature PT chart.. and if the scan tool does not something is wrong. But were things go wrong trying to use the PT chart and transducer is when there’s an internal heat exchanger involved . Plus variable displacement compressor. That was a tough one. I would’ve been pulling my hair out..

There is a change in pressure sensors between 2012 and 2013, and Ford superseded the early one to the later one. But as you found out, they aren’t compatible. We grabbed several from the junkyard to have spares. Have not found any source for them in the aftermarket.

I had a guy bring me a Montego once. It would studder and AC shut off and I cant remember what all else. He had gotten a hold of me becaue he thought he needed instrument cluster repair. Car was running I was watching the dome light just surge brightness. Turned out fella needed an alternator.

Cars with fan clutches, if the fan clutch coupling becomes weak it will cause higher pressure readings. Good working fan clutches, the high side pressure should read between 175-220 PSI when it’s normal hot day temp 80°f to maybe 90 95°F

The solenoid in the valve was failed, wasn't pulling it self to grd. look at the before and after on the pull down.

Did the Power Balance after repair show all cylinders good, esp no.1?

I always check with a long 3/8 ratchet to see if the engine is seized too. When I was in my 20s I wouldn’t check that got burnt a hand full of times
