may be you need to move it a little to the other side as they don't center perfectly.

To remove that bolt, remove the passenger side engine mount. Then jack your engine up. Peace of cake, there are 3 bolts only.

Mix a little resin into the bondo. It makes it like cream and it spreads smooth.
@misterfixit51866 ай бұрын
It's not hard to just take the 3 bolts out of top of strut so it can move around.....and u can still jack it up. Or down from bottom....just leave bottom bolt in strut

Is this the same for all cars? Or are there makes and models that are far less time consuming when it comes to replacing parts like this?

Solved... No need to take it all apart on the module remove the T20 screws without taking module out just fender liner then the 2 posts that put the 12 volts to the motor it might look like a good connection but it's not just get some plyers and squeeze together a little better then cycle the brake off then on then off and lights in dash will stay off.

I have never understood hoe the Wonky Parking Brake Cable on GMs work, as it appears the Cable from the Pedal/Actuator goes all the way to One Brake Assembly, and another Cable seems to hang around the Casing of the First One, but there is no Connection to transfer the Application of the brake to the 2nd Cable. It made no Sense on my 81 Olds, 86 Cadillac, 94 & 95 Buick Roadmasters, or on my 95 Fleetwood. My XT5 is even goofier, with some kind of Solenoid on the Rear Calipers. In the past 40 yrs, I think I can count the Number of Times I have used the Parking Brake on One Hand
