Wow, really surprised to see the Porsche out accelerate the Vette and the Vette out handle the Porsche. I was expecting the opposite. Also, the vette stays in 3rd too long and seldom downshift to 2nd, asking the motor to pull from as low as 50 to 120mph, it makes plenty of power but this was another observation.

honestly, the GT2 driver wasn't very good. I'm a crappy driver and I can see his mistakes. The GT2 is faster than the Z06 on paper, but this came down to driver skill. Oh, and I do have a C7 Z and probablly couldn't do much better than the guy in the Porsche. I admit it.

You should probably turn in earlier at turn 3. You would have a better angel for both turn 3 and 3A, thus faster speed

this is a driver with limited experience in the GT2 and maybe no experience at Sonoma. they had severe problems with that car's oversteer which means they had not driven it much before this. it's a good case example in why amateur drivers (like me) should start with a slow car.

Did the engine oil tempeture stay stable? I have GR Yaris and gets to 130 deg C on track and I worry of the factory 0W20 oil. These engines apparently have to use the special toyota 0W20 oil for low speed pre ignition and I could not find a heavier oil to compensate and meet the spec.

The GR Corolla diver did very well considering the supercar was being driven by my blind, one legged Grandma. Honestly, that supercar driver was garbage.

Damn I'm not an expert or anything but damn that was very impressive from the looks of it it just needs stickier tires and little bit better breaking that thing was rotating through the turns and you had your window down that's crazy

windows down is mandatory at most tracks for emergency egress. Also much safer to have windows down for point bys if those are the rules of the track.👍

That Merc gets pretty small when the road gets straight, and those stock tires cry in the corners, but that three cylinder does a pretty good job out there…
