o man, I thought you weren't doing Echo's hammer trick, I didn't realize Selene couldn't be offered as your most recent reward. I wonder, is that because you just got your first Hex, and the initial Hex and subsequent paths of stars are considered different types of rewards? like the initial Hex is considered a special non-repeatable one off similar to the region's onion, and if it had been a path of stars instead of the initial Hex that another path WOULD have been the reward reward reward offering?

Yep, the first Selene boons you find are considered unique and can't be copied pretty much. Path of Stars can get cloned, though, based on experience, so they are definitely very different items

It's once per encounter, yeah. If you saw it being used in Fields multiple times in one room, it's because each reward you unbind counts as an encounter.

tricky choice on the hestia glowing coal pick, the ability to throw the cast works well for Pan (target from a safe distance and the travel time gives more time to charge omega special) but also the travel time hurts Mental Block's utility as a parry edit: the later probably why it got immediately sold after Cerb lmao

Vow of time removed! I love your utter disbelief at Circe's island. Just sitting there going "...okay. Yeah! Let's go!" Also just the little touches, like killing Eris with a deflect dash. I have to wonder, what was your game plan if you DIDN'T get vow of time removed? Because uh... axe is slow on the best of days, and it's a TIGHT time limit.

Vow of Time Removed! My plan if it didn't get removed was to run Fig Leaf and probably die to Prometheus, I'll try to do this again on a different aspect at some point. Axe is slow, but that's mostly just the Mel Axe. Charon and Than don't suffer from the lumbering melee weapon sickness.

Hi! This is 53 Fear, so I only was able to use 6 grasp. For 50 Fear, it's probably the standard setup of 1, 6, 7, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23 Swap 23 (Strength) for 12 (Eternity) if you prefer Death Defs. You're free take out either Origination or Boatman to get 5 grasp if this lacks the defensive tools you want, but max money and reroll start with Origination for scaling is going to go a long way.

For controller setups, I just do standard, but move Dash to L so I can do face buttons + dash for movement.

That was me trying to deflect it with Mental Block before realizing that I'm playing Aspect of Charon and my Cast is on the floor for twice as long, so my Mental Block doesn't come back as fast unless I blow up the Cast lol. Almost lost because of it, too.

Arctic Ring is quite possibly one of the best boons to be in the game, no joke. The ability to stun enemies around you with freeze in a single button is something you shouldn't pass up. I'd say almost every Aspect wants this on Cast, only Persephone doesn't. Rarities are nice, but always make sure to get utility first if you find it.

@@elieghannoum7594 Storm Ring is very strong for a different reason, yeah. It's more of Utility vs raw damage. Usually, utility is enough for most things is all. I suggest giving it a try. Being able to instantly stun things around you in a single button hits different.

Awesome job! Is there a reason to fight the enemies once artemis shows up and starts helping you fight, since the timer stops? Just wondering, especially since you used up a lot of your temp magick regen.

Nope, best try to save as much resources and play evasively. I honestly kinda just forgot that I had that shop regen, so I played aggro.

Charon is terrible in high fear, IMO. Omega special wind up takes too long with fast attacking enemies

It's pretty good up to 53, in 55 it's kinda turbo ass though. Machi's video features him utilizing the Omega Special charge well, since he dashes twice within the timeframe almost every time. Not really comfortable doing that myself, though.

Oh, if you buy Centaur Hearts while having Antler on, your HP still remains at 30 until the next region. It's pretty much why I like running Eternity instead of Strength, honestly. I wanna have the dds to run Antler because the timer sucks.
