The correct air filtration style for stacks is what is being used in actual sprint cars. Probably too large for this level of engine though. But that is exactly what is obvilously correct to use. There are a seemingly a crap tone of folks more interested in form over function, posers. Are they tall, they can be, you can also make a filter base that the stacks bolt through and have a large oval or retangular filter like the Offroad racers use?

That is great information! I have the BBR filters, the K&N filters and the bug filters. My idea was to run the BBRs 90% of the time and switch to the K&N filters for long charity drives (200+ miles) and if I park it in a show all day I would use the bug filters because they look the coolest! This is very helpful! Thanks Doug and thanks to everyone at Prestige Motorsports! I have been having a blast driving my car ever since I got it back! BTW this is Tony Zamora with the Blue Shelby GT500 Tribute. No idea why I opened the account under my middle name. 😂

What if there is no published total time reference for your engine? I have a 1949 Oldsmobile 303 v8. The service manual only gives initial timing recommendations. There aren’t even timing degree marks on the crank, just two steel balls. I’m told to place the pointer between the balls at 500rpm. But I’ve got a stumble at high rpm

I'm not seeing how the 02 sensor can work when the exhaust is water cooled, seems to me it would not get up to temp to get a proper reading. Are wide band sensors able to work at lower temps?
