The lariat or luxury model didn’t come out until 1978 but this truck rite here would definitely be in the category of a lariat!!!

Just add a crankshaft from a 440ci to the 383ci and you will have a non-hemi 426ci engine.

Chevy has never made a 383 motor . Motor builders take 350 cid blocks and stroke them to get 383 cid out of them. 383 is a big block mopar engine

So cherry! My mother is just about to take delivery of her 69 Ranger that’s been restored and had vintage air and all that done. She’s already spent 20k on that thing over the first restore they had done whenever My Step Dad had the truck rebuilt whenever his dad passed it to him in his will in the mid 2000s but they never did much with it cause the engine was never rebuilt properly. It keep blowing seals and stuff. It was gorgeous but didn’t run right. She sent it off after my Step dad passed away last year to get the 390 all sorted out and get it show ready like he never got around to doing. Hers is White on Sea-foam Green. It was originally Rangoon Red. I advised them to keep it that way but they wanted it to look like my 69 long bed which was also a sweet unrestored truck that I had sold off. You just don’t see trucks more beautiful than these old Dent-sides. Doesn’t matter if it’s restored to look show room or updated with a new suspension and coyote engine, whick is what I want or one of the crown Vic swaps or just an old rusty farm truck. These things are the epitome of Americana and an absolute work of ART!

I had a '67 383 S Torqueflite in Bright Blue Metalic with a white interior. I ordered it from the factory and kept it for 17 years. I really loved that car. Some one ran into the back of it and damaged the molding on the lower edge of the deck lid. It took me about 4 months & a huge long distance phone bill to find a replacement, after that I was afraid to drive it on the street! It was also hard to find gas that it could run on.

Wow, what a beautiful car. I was always impressed that Chrysler managed to fit a 383 into the Valiant chassis. Although it did come at the cost of power brakes; the brake booster wouldn't fit with the 383

In ‘68 I had a blue ‘67 Formula S fastback with a factory blueprinted 273, dual point Mallory distributor, Carter AFB, 3 speed torqueflight on the console and a little TLC to boot. It was challenged but never beaten by 289 Mustangs and held its own against a few big blocks. Happy to have had that car. Wish I still did.

Nice SS 396 Camaro, but they did not have strips, or Z-28 15 X 7 inch wheels. They can be added on. But if this is a 1970 Camaro why doesn't have the correct seat in the front. There is no head rest.
