Thank you for this! I would like to ask the community of A07 Max owners If they know what the input impedance of this amplifier is? (aks input resistence = ratio of input voltage / Input current) thanks

@@Montebruno I believe it’s somewhere around 250KOhm per channel.

Just received mine, it came with Rubycon 63v capacitors should I be worried? Thanks

Looks like AIYIMA is using both Nichicon and Rubycon caps. I do know that the older version of the board used 50v Rubycon caps and looks like they made an upgrade to 63v in the next iteration which is more important. I’d say not to worry about whether it’s Nichicon or Rubycon as both are decent brand caps.

Very nice review. Thanks a lot for your time and effort. It really is a nice amplifier. Had one and ordered second one recently to use in mono mode. Driving my Whafedale Lintons effortlessly. ❤❤❤😊😊😊

What cables are you using to connect your amplifier to your jamo s 803 speakers?

I purchased 12-gauge KnuKonceptz speaker wire from Amazon along with banana plugs and made my own speaker wires.

Why are you using external DAC?
@4han_t
@4han_t Жыл бұрын
Mostly to get better audio quality for my headphones as the internal DAC isn’t that good. But same answer applies to when I use speakers too. I can get the source audio signal via usb and let the Fiio DAC handle the conversion before passing the analog signal to the amplifier.

hi i have question pardon i dont know more about this connections. i just want to ask if i can connect 4 pcs bose 251 to this amplifier? thank you
@4han_t
@4han_t Жыл бұрын
Hi @oninzjounique6407 you can connect the Bose 251 speakers to this amp but the amp can only support (2.0 with line out for active subwoofer) so you can only connect 2 speakers (left and right channel) to the amp. The speakers are rated at 100W nominal and 200W peak at 8Ohm, so this amp can drive them quite well. You could also use the aux out to connect another amplifier which could then power another left+right channel set of speakers. However, make sure not to exceed 32feet of wire length from amp to speakers. Hope this answers your question.

Hi, i have a creative labs X3 paired with edifiers (optical connection) and a subwoofer (wharfedale sw150). What would the ao8 do that the x3 doesn't please? (total noob...). Thank you
@4han_t
@4han_t Жыл бұрын
Hi JD. Most likely you have active edifier speakers and subwoofer that plug into a wall outlet for power and get the audio signal from your X3 which is a DAC/Headphone Amp. However, if you had passive bookshelf speakers that didn’t plug into the wall such as one the I have in this video which are the Jamo S803, you need these speakers to be able to get the power and audio signal through a single source via the banana plugs. Here is where an audio amplifier like A08 comes in handy. It’s a Class D amplifier so it’s capable of outputting up to 600 watts of power in a small footprint with high efficiency. And to connect to the subwoofer, I’d just take the 3.5mm line out and plug into a powered subwoofer like your sw150. Hope this helps.

Prior to using the MX Sound 2.0, I was using a really nice pair of headset but I didn't really like the feel and pressure of headsets on my ear. But, after using these, I can honestly say that the sound quality and spectrum (bass, low, mid, highs, and treble) are all very clear and the volume levels (for personal computing) did not let me down. Although they are only 2.0, they still give you very good awareness of your in-game surrounding environment. I also like the looks as they are a bit different than the other typical vertical speakers. If you use the Bluetooth to connect to PC, you can eliminate one of the 3 cables. The only thing negative to say about this is often times, via wire connection with PC, when the volume is set to level 10 or below (using the PC controls rather than the speaker controls), the speakers may not recognize that they are producing volume and go to sleep mode. I have to waive my hand in front of the right speaker to wake them up again.

This would have looked even better with some good sleeved cables. That 8 Pin GPU cable looks horrible and holds the build back aesthetically in my opinion. I also think the SSD would have looked better mounted on the front too, though that's just a matter of opinion. Other than that, nice job!

I've seen some pictures of people having problems with the RAM clearance of the Kraken X62 up to the point where the pump was covering the first DIMM slot. But yours seems to be fine. Can you tell me anything about the remaining space between the pump and your RAM?

Very nice build! I want to build a silent PC. Maybe i will get a Hybrid too .. but i heard, that the Pump is not very quiet... so i don`t know if it`s the best solution for me. Should i get a Hybrid or an Air Cooled Version of the 1080 for a silent PC ... Maybe you can share your experience with me. Thx :)

Sichtig the water pump on the graphics card is very quiet. The only thing you do hear is the fan, depending on how hot the GPU is and your fan curves. Even that can be controlled manually if you prefer a quieter experience, use the Precision X OC for that.
