after last few bearish engulfing on a weekly, markets continued down for minimum two weeks

Just 2 months ago, Wall Street wanted 2 50bps cuts (the economy is tanking), they got 1, now they're whining and want the Fed to take that cut back (the economy is growing), it just proves that Wall Street is run by a bunch of idiots with too much substance abuse. Like Warren Buffett has described it as Mr. Market, one morning he wakes up with a stiffy and Mrs. Market is nice, he's happy, and the next, he had a binge and has whiskey dick and is upset at the world.

The last 2 days has been 100% manipulated by the options dealers. In the early morning of Thursday, pre-market, there was a massive 0-DTE put @ 575 strike purchased that made negative gamma explode to the downside, like -$300 million, while the price of SPY was at the flip zone at 584, the market proceeded to tank and bounced exactly off of 575 where the put strike was placed, then gamma switched back to positive, then a subsequent rally back into 585 overnight to catch the shorts, then right at 585, call ceiling, then subsequently selloff when gamma back in negative. They're playing with our money!!! To me the internals are showing weakness, but the next couple of weeks' action is probably typical for end of Oct. weakness (Oct. 29th, 1929's ghost), couple with election anxiety.

Either the stock market is wrong, or the bond market is wrong, which is it? I'm taking the side that the bond market has been mispriced and nibbled on TLT and TYD.

For now I'm chalking it up to pre election jitters and some healthy profit taking on overcrowded trades. If the election goes off without a hitch I think we can run. If there's some sort of mayhem then markets will cool until there's some resolution.
