So actually, you’re not playing the song that’s being sung, you are providing accompaniment in the form of chords to the melody line, which is being sung. Don’t take me wrong, this is good information. I wish I’d learned this 60+ years ago. But hey! I can sight read and I know my chords.

Hi Jared, I am a worshipper who loves music and playing instruments however I have always been held back mentally by a disability in my right arm which makes me have to play with one hand. Every tutorial I see online obviously caters for both hands but I happened to come across your videos and KZbin and felt it could help me but I would like a little more guidance as I’m using just one hand.
