Kristin, I'm a travel agent. How do I categorize an error? I made a mistake on a cruise reservation and I had to pay $400.00 out of pocket to fix my mistake. and 2) How do I categorize an expense when I do a price match. I gave my client a shipboard credit for their cruise as part of the price match? Thank you!

I am currently a college student getting a Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus in finance so I’ve taken a lot of accounting classes. I genuinely enjoy bookkeeping and would love to do it as a job. I want to be able to travel and work remotely so I think freelance bookkeeping would be great for me. How much could one expect to earn in this job ? And how soon could I get started ? I just completed my first two years of my Bachelors, 2 more to go. Will anyone take me seriously if I try to start now ?
