This is by far the best lesson about completing a direct materials budget. The explanation my textbook gave was very hard to follow and even the lecture my professor provided was not much help. Thank you very much. Your lesson was a lifesaver for helping me with my accounting homework!

Really good lecture. Showing how with four lines removed it's the production budget really helped with the process of memorizing the steps. Nice touch!

I wish more professors made that point when teaching the DM budget. It makes it so much easier for students to understand both the production and DM budgets.

Good job, really helpful! Should of watched your videos rather than reading my textbook over and over to understand. Love from Canada

Your videos are always so helpful and your voice is very clear. I'm a student and I want to get this right, but I hesitated to ask this question because I feel awkward. If Jan EI carried to Feb BI, then Feb to March in turn why would Q1Total EI = 1,500? It said they want March 31st to = 2,500 EI and we used it for our calculation EI. Where did 1,000 sheets go for the Q1 Total?

How would you format a direct materials budget with multiple materials?

You would need to do two DM budgets
