Very sad. I have quite a few memories of renting I Love Toy Trains Parts 1 - 3 and 4 - 6 on DVD from my local library as a kid and had loads of fun watching them. He will be dearly missed.

I too like the MPC engines. My Grand Trunk GP 7 wobbled exactly like that when I first got it. Turns out one of the wheels on the motorized truck was not concentric. I took the truck apart, pulled the offending wheel and replaced it. The locomotive no longer wobbles. Evidently mine was not an isolated case. Great layout and great assortment of MPC sir.

Well said. I replied this on your Twitter post, but Tom's knack for storytelling and filmography is what the foundation for our generation's love of O gauge is built upon. From I Love Toy Trains, to the Toy Train Reviews, the Christmas train videos, Tinplate Legends, and his magnum opus - A Century of Lionel Trains, he captured the hearts and imaginations of so many. It's very neat you had the pleasure of meeting him. I hope TMBV can carry on covering today's best layouts in the style we know and love. Or at least, give us a special about the life and career of the man himself.

Where's the evidence? I looked but I did not see any research if Tom McComas died. Did he really die? Is this all a hoax? If not, where's the real information?
@thecaledoniansleeper2648Ай бұрын
I wonder if James Coffey, the musician who’d been part of TM’s videos, is gonna make a song dedicated to Tom McComas? He might heard the news about it too?

Without Tom, I wouldn't have been a avid I Love Toy Trains fanatic to this day or any of his other work like John Deere, Big Machines, etc (he never fails to make us laugh, learn and want more). First Brian McConnachie (headwriter for Shining Time Station) is gone, now Tom. I might dedicate my premiere S3 episode of Great Sodor Engines to his memory as there had been a few occasions where some Thomas models appeared and also mentioned.

Without Tom nor his greatest creations, I wouldn’t have been interested to either Toy Trains or Trains in general. Rest in peace Tom, you and your legacy for filming and video producing on Toy Trains will always live on through our hearts 🫡

I absolutely LOVE 😍 the little "Kiddieland Limited" Challenger 4-6-4! - assuming that it was built as an amusement park locomotive, delighted to see that it's been preserved & is running! 😎 Looks like it's styled somewhat after New York Central's streamlined Hudsons. Both it & the Czech 0-4-0 have impressive whistles & "stack talk"! 😀

You caught a few interesting loads and car types mixed into the manifests. Transformer Load on a depressed flat, Flat with Pipes, Coil cars, High-sided Gondola, Wheel load, Green wrapped lumber load, Double stacked wheel load and another single along with a MOW Ballast car and a few nice paint scheme cars like the bright red boxcars and the green hopper cars. A train doesn't seem like a train to me without a caboose and I am also surprised none of the engineer's tooted the horn for you.

I was here. Although I love all the albums, for some reason I found myself less hyped about Human than the internet consensus. However this bass solo going into Lack of Comprehension and then the song itself and the other Human track that was played live was so damn good I felt like I “got it.” Also everyone online who says that The Song of Perseverance is just “riff salad” or that the song structures are weak clearly have never experienced them live. The songs really breathed and the transitions built up the music so well and gave moshers a chance to catch their breath. Great live music all around. Can’t wait to see them again.
