Just wanna ask, even it is an old video, after you fill the can with your beer with CO2, can the pressure and gas maintained when you move it to the sealing machine? Thanks.

Hey it's amazing, nice work. Could you help me, with the information of which brand/model/type of electrovalve for the beer flow are you using? I'm having troubles in that stage, some electrovalves generate turbulence and foam.

Hey Hugo, did you ever find a sensor? I think it might be from EPT sensors. Let me know if you came up with anything else please

Any updates on this or a price? I'm a homebrewer with an Oktober canner so don't need anything crazy, but I hate filling with a regular bottle filler. This thing looks simple and works.

This is fantastic! I’m looking for a solution just like this. Did you guys do the programming yourselves? Any public info on it? Thanks, and cheers!

Have been following you, have you moved to counter vs open now then? How do you get a good seal on the cans, is there a largwe bung i cant see or is it just a silicon sheet on the top of the cans. Also how do you sense they are full? Will you be building these, need a can filler and this looks pretty advanced now

Nice machine! I'd like to build something similar for my small craft brewery in Morgantown WV. How do you guys control foaming?
@threshersbrewingco.19166 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We are still dialing in the carbonation and flow rate, but so far the biggest thing has been keeping the beer cold the whole time without getting it so cold you lose the foam cap.

This is exactly what i want to build for my nano brewery here in the UK, are you using capacitance sensors to read the fill level through the foam? I guess this is a mega with some gas solenoids for the pneumatics and then 2 more for the CO2 and fill? Will you build these to sell on, or if not publish any plans / code to help others build a similar one? Great to see it can be done i'm a bit behind you have most of the parts now but haven't started coding mine.

Right now, we are using optical sensors for the filling. We are developing pressure based sensors for better reliability. Once we have the final working plans, we will be building them using our in-house CNC. The can pusher and topper will be integrated into the filler. Any number of fill/purge heads can be built with minor modification. The coding and trial and error has definitely been the trickiest part. Thanks for your interest!

You’re doing a great job with it. Didn’t consider optical. I guess pressure with a capillary tube will work and I think is what the pro machines use. The basic cask one just uses resistive sensing from what you can see on the videos. Coupled with 2 or 3 heads as you have here looks pretty much spot on if seaming with a manual machine like the mk16. Any idea what you’d build and sell a 3 head like this for I could be in the market for one, I can use my parts to build a keg washer instead. Matt
