Coverdale was absolutely right to cut costs and employ this line up to tour. There is nothing worse than watching Neil Murray having to pretend he was a young man posing away. And Campbell and Vandenberg did a good enough job covering Sykes material, this line up was certainly more energetic live than the Sykes version with Powell. Coverdale made a business decision and it worked.

Smoke a J and heard Smells Like Teen Spirit". I was blown away. Then came Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, STP. What a time to be alive !!
