I think any American who thinks Europe will solve all of their problems is not very smart and emotionally immature. They are dissatisfied with something in their personal life and attribute it to living in the US and somehow think moving to Europe will make it better because they saw it in a tiktok or youtube video.

7:48 it's completly true. I'm 100% in on that statement, and I am German. It was invented by (the caucasian) Europeans and, in fact, the Germans "perfected" it, if you know what I mean. But the 'Muricans are really in on holding ON to it! I mean, in my head it's a long time ago that Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. fought for their rights and freedom but it's NOT long ago! It was only the 1950's when they fought! That's NOT a long time ago! I'm always shocked when I bring it before my eyes, that it feels like an eternety since strucutral r@ c1sm was "normal" in 'Murica, but to be honest, it still is very normal there. Sure, here in Germany we too have very r@ c1st people but, to be honest, I' m glad, that we are not as invested and "proud" to have r@ c1st people and even let them get voted p - resident.

Thank you for your legitimate interest in this lecture. Also read The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives, 1997 by Zbigniew Brzeziński's quote Helmut Schmidt, a well-respected former chancellor *"a book that you should read and take seriously"* and also look at the development of Klaus Schwab with the help of Henry Kissinger (friend of Helmut Schmidt) in the WEF and the omnipresent global network. The Russian-German axis must be broken, but Russia is looking for a new partner in China and Germany is left as a slave to the USA. Maybe you'll then understand what's been going on in Germany over the last few decades. The American striving for supremacy in the world can be welcomed from an American perspective, but what does it look like outside of America?

Pettiness: Yep, that is a part :D. We complain about over-regulation, but on the other hands we love a lot of our regulations as well. The "Bin must be shut" thing is a local where you ended up though, depends on where you are what level of pettiness you get smashed into your face. Here, in my town, a lot more relaxed. "Space at the end of the counter": Depends on where you buy. Edeka/Marktkauf have the older style with enough space and a movable divider for two customers. Aldi and Netto cut that cost down, which I don't like as well... Recording in public is a historic thing, one from the "Tazi" time, when there weren't cameras, but people watching every little thing you do to report you being evil. During the time Germany was split, the DDR-East-Germany did surveillance, with video, constantly on a very professional level to make peoples life worse whenever they step out of line. These included a lot of civilians you thought they are friends, but had that hidden spy-stuff going for decades to report what you do. That fear spilled over to West Germany, and is deeply ingrained even 35 years after the wall fell.

Hi i'm from Germany and believe it or not my preferred payment method is indeed contactless. I'm living in Berlin and i am using this option without exceptions. If contactless payment is not offered as an option i'm gonna go anywhere else. I've been to the us in September 2024 & 2025 and there where less pissibilities to pay with apple pay - this is also true for every Walmart i've visited. This was really annoying for me. In most Restaurants you have to pay an extra fee when paying contactless - really annoying. So from my point of view people from USA seem to rely more on cashpayment then me and my family and friends are doing here.

I once talked to a dutch former prisoner. He told me that his life in prison was better then before. But, the years he served in prison, he had no freedom. He had his job, but go outside with beautiful weather, impossible. Only a planned time he was allowed to go outside, yes in prison. He told me the story of a real nice Sunday. The time before, he would go out with his children in a park etc. Now he was allowed to go out at 5 pm, it was raining cats and dogs, and yes no family life. Those were the times he could feel his punishment for the crime he did. Punishment for your crimes doesn't mean revenge, yes in the so called "based on Christian believes" for example US it's revenge. If they really believe it, is that told in the bible? For most of the inmates it's about rehabilitation. A few can't, but giving them a bad life, out of a action of revenge?

in case some Americans are shocked. in Germany it is about rehabilitating prisoners. not humiliating and punishing them, as prisoners are also people, they are treated like people. as the first law in the German constitution. HUMAN DIGNITY IS SACRED. if you are imprisoned as a teenager, you will get a second chance from the age of 24 and all entries in your police record will be deleted forever unless you are accused of murder

@@ChristopherLRussell Honestly, wasn't even disappointed on the misdirection like usual with some creators, but only cuz it was bangin'! Truly entertaining! There's a female creator that babysits her niece, and she uses the child's musical toys, sometimes 2, or 3, at a time, to cover hard metal songs with appropriately hilarious lyrical substitutions. And she legit is talented... Like she redid To the Window but like Beethoven, or Mozart produced the beat, and it was on piano, then the next song System of a Down on a xylophone and wooden sticks. Anyways. Thanks for the laughs!

I can relate so much to this! The biggest topic for me is racism: Growing up here in Germany I never had a concept of "black" and "white" people. I just perceived it as normal that we people look differently. But as soon as I got immersed in American culture I saw that they make such a big and constant thing about being "black or white" and what ethnicity you are. It feels like to me that Americans make this a thing about their core identity as if it is very relevant how people look and how bright/dark their skin is as if this changes their personality. Since experiencing this, this made me very uncomfortable about this topic and now I constantly have to obsessively think about it. I don't understand how Americans don't learn from the past of people literally enslaving people based on their skin tone and now they even use those racial slurs as slang! I feel like they do it to the point of pure brainwashing! Overall American culture seems very toxic and less empathetic. They seem to be so hateful and constantly bashing on everything as if they get mad about the smallest thing. I really hope that this will change because America has such great potential. But I feel like educating their people and valuing morals doesn't seem to be their priority.
@ChristopherLRussell2 ай бұрын
You are correct. America is business first. “Certain people” NEED to stay in power and in order to keep them in power, they need to keep society distracted as to not figure it out. What’s the easiest distraction? In-fighting. Keep the people fighting and arguing and debating and disagreeing with EACH OTHER. Race is the easiest thing to get the people emotionally charged over. Next comes money, Rights, guns, gender, etc. Politics in the US is a huge game, but the people still think it’s their fellow citizens that are the enemy. And so…America.

I feel like the original video is a little biased to certain parts of Germany as there is no mention of northern and eastern germany. For example there is the second largest folkfest in germany the Baumblütenfest in Werder, the Hengstparade in Neustadt Dosse, the Grüne Woche, the IFA and Wannsee in Flammen in Berlin, Hanse Sail and so much more, especially local cultural festivals for example in the Spreewald. Kinda sad if you ask me, cause there is so much diversity.

What a one-sided view of realities. Anyone who breaks a leg here doesn't have to sell their house afterwards to pay for the doctors/or the hospital. Anyone who studies here doesn't have to be in debt for the rest of their lives. And anyone who buys something here pays the price listed on it. And in the US, if you drive a mile too fast, the police are sure to come out of some bush and take you to court.
