The sun above me and a concrete floor below Scratch at the chain links maybe bare my teeth for show Fed twice a day I don't go hungry anymore Feel in my bones just what the future has in store I pace in circles so the camera will see Look hard at my stripes, there'll be no more after me Laze by the shoreline while the sailors disembark Scratch out a place to sit and rest down in the dark Smell something burning downwind just a little ways They set up camp and sing and sweat and work for days I have no fear of anyone I'm dumb and wild and free I am a flightless bird and there'll be no more after me In Costa Rica in a burrow underground Climb to the surface, blink my eyes and look around I'm all alone here as I try my tiny song Claim my place beneath the sky but I won't be here for long I sang all night the moon shone on me through the trees No brothers left and there'll be no more after me

People give this lead singer so much flack! He truly doesn’t deserve it. Okay, okay he isn’t Steve Perry. I get that. However, he isn’t trying to take Steve’s place. He is who HE IS. He is a damn good singer and he introduces a young generation to Journey’s music. That is a good thing. I am sure that Steve, himself, would agree with that! Peace.

Very few bands have pulled off switching singers, you guys did.,. Was very close to original, but had potential to take you to a much higher level. Unfortunately, your Narcissist Guitarist who I’m assuming is the boss, squashed it all.. FYI , guitarist is very mediocre, It’s a Singer reliant band, everything behind the singer is pretty much accompany chords. Lead guitar is just a version of the melody. Joe Perry , made these songs relevant . Not saying. The band was no less involved., there’s just no band personalities 4:26

Ross and steve need to be back in that band. I love dean. Killer drummer. But there's just too much infighting and weirdness now on this band and lawsuits. It's too bad they're pissing on their own legacy.

Schon provided personal studio live videos, during mandatory covid intiation. Which within many, playing his very nice floyd equipped strats. Runs, with his patented sustained pauses, same level effort as any live arena. I mentioned your strats are stellar, approx 20-mins later, legacy neil responded in return with "Love-em". Goes above beyond providing just pre written tracts within live shows. Pre show, also post- show, neil exceeds expectations.

At the time that Arnel was hired, I had a Filipina girlfriend. The people over there were losing their minds over this happening for a homeboy. She's been gone a few years but I remember us listening to Journey, and me showing her different songs. I'm a metal head, so they aren't my favorites, but they have some good songs.
