oh really? even their yt channel is labeled "The English Beat Official" you'd be right if they were touring in the UK... their wiki spells out why.

The entity led by Dave Wakeling that mainly tours throughout the United States (that’s in this video) is known as The English Beat The entity fronted by Rankin Roger’s son (Rankin Junior) is known simply as The Beat. They are based in the UK. The band was initially known as “The Beat” when they formed in the UK. However, when they made their way to the US, they became “The English Beat” as a means to avoid confusion with another group also called “The Beat”
