One of my favourite films and the soundtrack was brilliant too.

Every media, society and religion tells you that love is great and it conquers all however in reality its really fucked up and makes you behave like an insane person for a while, love might be the last legal drug but im too old now to participate

I watched this film for the first time 3 days ago and I think it altered my brain chemistry permanently. I am not the same person I was before.

Even tho it’s one of my favorite movies, as my great childhood friend that passed away before he turned 21 introduced it to me as it was his fav film so we’d watch it all the time. (I was 13, he was 17) Still think a redo would make another great film and one for its time.

What was most interesting to me about late 90s early 2000s contrived movies like this…is that nobody ever talked like this. People didn’t talk like this at all. Garbage
@user-ib2kt4oo7i4 күн бұрын
@@JFK-ir7yz I totally agree. I’m from nyc and was raised in 90s and early 2000s… no one talked like the characters in this movie

If there ever was an actor who should have won a Cēsar or Oscar for a single role then its Jean H. Anglade. His portrayal of Eric is epic ... pure african philosophy.

I always wondered if the scene where Eric gives Zed a "red pill" was a reference to Total Recall's "red pill" scene - the precursor to The Matrix's "red pill."

1:50 Wtf how did this edit get past the director?! Absolutely unacceptable edit. I just checked... it's legit also in my DVD version.
@BowenEros-gt8gn2 ай бұрын
..... are you serious? Did you watch the movie? There are many "dream" shots where we see what a character imagines. That was not an editing mistake. Internally, he was screaming at the chick for interrupting his rizz. Your comment is silly.
