Thank you for these! Tried them with my 24 year old mare today, and she seemed to really enjoy them - she was definitely a little weirded out by the dock push at first, though. 😂

I had the fantastic pleasure of viewing Gillian in Action when she last visited Australia. I have all her books but video and drone footage would be fantastic. I have implemented and used the exercises and the rider information to inform and enhance my skills.

I’m going to try these with my 22 year old! I had one question, will this show improvement in a specific manner or movement when riding?

Good luck with your horse. Yes you should see a difference in comfort, mobility and suppleness.

Is there such a thing as a perfect structural and anatomical horse. Any more than a perfect human. Surely every animal born has some kind of weakness. I have been a horse owner for over 50 years. I had very little vet involvement. But a very keen horse person I new said " Im sure they were lame and you didnt recognise it." I agree it is quiet possible. But as a old lady I have had some vet attention. Frankly I have very little faith in the vets of to day. It is so easy for them to just run up a big bill. We all do our best and sometimes we get it right and sometimes not. Its a very difficult area now and quiet worrying . Im really pleased I have arrived at the twilight horses days thank heavens.

I have a question about yanking the horses tail on a regular basis. I know a guy (mid 20s, very illiterate and arogant) who grabs horses by the tail in our stable and gives them a proper strong, abrupt and uncoordinated yank, as hard as his arms allow him. As a vet and someone who is interested in any form of body work on horses I am appalled and I actually screamed at him the other day when he did that to a mare I'm paid to work with after her competition. My sister works for his girlfriend (late 30s) and her stallion and sais since he started doing those tail pulls the stallion has shown progressive problems with coordination and strength in his hind quarters. I am worried he might be damaging the vertebrae in the sacral area, as it is a young stallion and I've seen videos of the pelvic regions of young horses (as young as 7 yo) that had improper or incomplete fusions of the vertebrae in that area due to horses simply stumbling and yanking their carts (trotters) since the age of 2

Thank you! I am currently doing a reconditioning plan that includes the back lift as part of a calestinics set and haven't been able to consistently get the correct reflex area. I also Love the tip about going against the hair for the sternum rub.

The misinformation and lack of it is absolutely ludicrous ,do not do this if your not trained fully and your horse has been cleared to do so by your vet ..it will save yourself getting knocked out
Wow! This is amazing! Good idea and kudos to your painting abilities!
