@@PapaSmurfGames that’s the only bad thing about it, every pro/ content creator said it was the best event in the cdl era and karma said it was the loudest the fans have ever been. Just have to hope the energy stays consistent next year

The moment I knew OpTic won was when we won map two. Hydra dropped 15 kills, we got blooded round 11, and we win the 3v4 for the map. After that, I was confident we'd win 5-1 or 5-2

I definitely feel like his energy has helped Faze more than it's hurt them, but they definitely need to figure out what they're missing, they still get a little hectic in the final moments of a close map

Hitch from TST said the CDL sent over the raw gameplay files from each POV and the comms aswell and said it was like over 300 Gigs to download.. Then he upscaled it so it's the raw gameplay files that's why it looks so good, cuz I think usually it's the broadcast footage of gameplay seems like the CDL is listening somewhat.

@@lilpiglet1 Yeah, Hitch said Rog and JP were happy to get the footage this way instead of just using the broadcast footage. obv if you re-record the broadcast footage it's not going to look as good w/ it being a recording of a recording if that makes sense. Roger does a phenomenal job of wanting/making the best of quality vids so he was actually happy to get the raw files. The CDL ever since the Microsoft acquisition seem to be doing better things. But hell yeah that's a lot of prep and editing to get this out this quick.. S/O the behind the scenes OpTic members that don't get the credit but they're the ones that make masterpieces happen.💚💚💚

Faze: I really hope Drazah works with that wonder trio, they deserve a true winning year, last year with Slasher you could just tell from the head cams they didn't have chemistry with him, maybe Drazah will be "that" guy the've been searching for so long now :P Thieves: I know i'm sounding like a couch-coach but i'm old and just by life experience I can see that disbanding the team was a mistake, Nade is maybe too desperate , but I would have given those guys more time, they clearly enjoyed playing together, their comms were always good... don't know, this year team feels like a wreck Optic: I think they are just going to have another mixed-mediocre year, again, they try to build teams that look awesome on paper, but they forget the human aspect, those are just too many egos on that team and you can tell on every map they play, they always seem to be competing among eachother, since way back with "the dinasty" it was all optic vs optic, always have been and that's why they will continue to be inconsistent team with great marketing Subliners: I'm not sure, about dropping Priestah (sic) I'm rooting for them, they are a very consistent and solid team, I do think the final fight will be them vs. Faze Sorry for the long comment!

I mostly agree, I do think Thieves had no choice to disband with Octane retiring and Envoy/Drazah/Kenny probably getting better offers from the top teams. Think it was just an unfortunate circumstance for them. As for OpTic, I guess time will tell, but it wouldn't be the first time they've had the best team on paper, and fall short 😅
