I made a video titled '5 Types of DL Men' -- I am SURE that you will find that at least 2 types applied to your ex... Women must be educated on knowing the signs because most dl men are just not going to tell the women they are with about their same sex affairs, attraction or desires.

You can do whatever you want to your hair. Just be reasonable and think it through. Going natural will be a struggle😙 I am working on that myself

This is so heart-warming😌 Like something you may expect in a movie, not in real-life. Thanks for sharing your story. Many people must understand that when finding yourself, don't be afraid to not only accept yourself, but allow others to accept you

I've been natural 12+ years. You do have to learn new things & one of them is that it's time consuming. Detangling? C'mon now. It's betterto trim hair straight (time & too temporary for the work) so you see the ends, if not you have to dust often; tedious & time consuming. It takes more product application unless you have low density. To me ppl barely embrace their true hair b/c wash n goes aren't the go to style. We have to stretch or protect to even retain length!! If you moisturize (not oil) a braid out you can't jus bun it b/c you'll lose those set curls.

Yea if you have 4c hair and try to go natural it does seem to be waaay more work. I’m so grateful my dad had 3c/4a hair and so do I.

I have NEVER commented before on a video but I truly appreciate your struggle. Always use1 leave in first then 2 moisturizing oil then 3 seal oil then 4 a curl lotion. The snotty type like argan oil moisture and shine curl activator crème works well. Night time part hair down middle put two cornrows one each side. Eventually the moisture and softness will increase.

I just put my hair in 8 braids or just section it off into four ponytails at night and leave it. As for products, I just used shampoo, leave in conditioner for washing and shea butter for the rest of the week. For me it's inexpensive. When I went natural I just kept it simple. You don't need 1001 products. Using to much product can either make your hair greasy or dry it out and cause those nasty flakes. I think people who are going natural are really over thinking it and are just following what everyone else is doing instead of using common sense.

I'm late to the party, but I don't understand. It takes me 10 minutes to detangle/shampoo, then another 10 to style. That's it for three days! When I relaxed my hair, it was a constant struggle with brushes, flatirons and greasy potions.

Black women have been conditioned to hate themselves. You need to unlearn everything, that you’ve been thought about your hair. Try deep conditioning with heat, use lotta body;very affordable.

Being natural is overrated and not even all that. I regretted it too and I started watching healthy relaxed hair girls with beautiful healthy long hair. I am happy I went back to texturising again. My hair is healthy and beautiful. It was brittle extra dry and broke so bad when it was natural.

My Advice: Do what works for YOU. You're not turning your back on your 'heritage"...you're STILL Black. My hair is Natural and for the past 10 years I go from Natural to Relaxed to a Jherri Curl (yep). I go from different shades of Blonde to various shades of Red (prefer the darker Reds) and back to Black. I tell people, I have no loyalty to my hair ( I go from shoulder-length to a TWA to near-Bald) and in between, I wear wigs, braids, and sew-ins....Okay, I'm Complex, but I LOVE the versatility and my hubby gave up on me: it's "baby, I'm going to do______ (fill in the blank)", he just looks at me, hands over the $$$$ and keep it moving. Gotta love the guy!! I LOVE being a Black woman with 4c hair, it's soooo versatile! Enjoy the Journey and do what moves YOU. Good Luck, Sister!!!

So ya girl (me) got that 4c hair lol, so my mom isn’t very good at styling hair so when I was 10 she FORCED me to get a relaxer and I loved being natural because I was 10 and nobody expected me to do my own hair. So now I’m going on 13 and I grew off my relaxer and now that I’m older I have to do my own hair, baby I tell you relaxers are life savers! Natural works for some people but if you’re looking for easy maintenance and straight hair relaxers will do it!🤩 Btw I got a new relaxer yesterday and now I don’t have to worry about hours on my hair❗️

I’ve been natural off and on for 4 to 5 years because I get so frustrated with my hair that I go and get a relaxer. I love my natural hair and every time I go back natural, I learn something new. For me I wasn’t moisturizing my hair properly and I was getting braids that broke my hair off as well. Right now I’m stuck, because I love rod set and twist outs but they take too long to do. I have to admit my hair is much stronger and grow so long beating natural.

i used to hate wash days too, because it took forever to wash, but i came upon this youtubers video, efficiently natural. She has 4c hair and her hair is super long. She washes her hair in loose twists and it really cuts down wash time. I'm so glad i found her video's because she offers great tips. You should check her out

I was natural for 4 years and I still don’t relax my hair but I did go back to straightening my hair regularly. I go to the shop and get it straightened once a month. I was so proud to be natural but I just couldn’t take it anymore. My hair shedded like crazy and was extremely dry most of the time no matter what I did or what products I used. I spent sooo much money on products just trying to find the right ones and never did. And my hair stopped growing. When I was relaxed my hair grew like crazy. I feel like it was more damaged after going natural then it ever was relaxed. I’ve been wearing my hair pressed for going on 3 months now and it’s already grown so much.

I notice in these vids the girls are always saying their hair isnt manageable but natural just means no chemical so u can be “natural” and not wear your hair curly u could heat train it and wear it straight it wont revert but if u wear it straight it doesnt really matter

Returning to natural is the best thing i ever could have done for my hair. Relaxers burn your scalp, they BURN. now imagine what that's doing to your body inside... i would say, focus on the health of your hair and the rest will follow. It's definitely not easy. Patience and consistency is key... good luck!
