Yeah so we ran a pair of them on one our shop trucks for almost three years and they held up just fine. We sell alot of them locally mainly to the construction industry and for replacing old rotating beacons on fire apparatus. We haven't had any come back under warranty since they were released by Feniex. So I fully believe they are among the best available today specially at the price point.

I will mention this to Sr. as advice when he starts recording for our channel again. Unfortunately being a family/first responder owned shop we are always listening to our local scanner channels. But I will let him know that it creates an issue with these videos and will get it corrected. Thanks for the feedback.

The lights in this video were the same Feniex T3's used in the video of the positive switched patterns 1-20.

So in most cases you would be correct. This build specifically was very labor intensive and uses alot of equipment. We are very competitive specially when working with volunteer organizations with budgets that rely mostly on donations. So I can say that even with the many labor hours, this build was completed and delivered for less than $10,000. Which is almost unheard-of industry wide.

The odds of finding these new are not good as they discontinued their dual color line when Quads were created. Your best bet would be to look online(maybe Facebook) and see if you can find them used. Unfortunately the light in the video was installed on a local hose companies command rig.

Yes, all six programmable buttons output a +12v signal. They can be programmed as a latching on/off switch or a non-latching momentary switch. We have not found anything it won't work with.

Can you elaborate in a bit more detail? I'm assuming you have a zone defense backup camera system that you installed a newer monitor to? Is that correct? Is the new monitor a Zone Defense monitor? I guess my best advise would be to contact Zone Defense's tech support. It may be that the newer monitor is just defective?

I have to agree with u. I tried the sylvania zevo 7443R led brake light bulbs on my 2015 lifted Scion xB. And it works very well. The 7440A on the other hands. It works ok, decently bright-ish in daytime and I notice some of the drivers are not letting me merge or letting me move to a different lane. The front was a bit brighter than the back. But it has some dark spots. As much as I love the zevo led bulbs and recommend them, these 7440A doesn’t work well for my application. It just depends on how ur tail lights and headlights design. If a tail light turn signal housing have a flat area that’s not too roomy lookin housing, the Amber zevo led will work well. Especially when it comes to amber color lens to bright them up more. But if it’s a large chrome housing, it can light up but not fully. Brake lights are the way to go. Turn signals, it’s a game of buy and try or hit or miss type of Amber. That’s why we prefer a 360 led lights that are ultra bright. Like lasfit, auxito, auxbeam. With wattage make 24-28 watts per bulb. While zevo Amber turn signals that’s two sides only makes 1.5 watts. Again, red led making 0.4 watts parking light and 1.5 watts brake function works very well. But 50/50 for turn signals.

I will say this though. Not all vehicles will work well on 3157A zevo bulbs. I see these work well on smaller reflector style for turn signals. For example my family’s 2017 Toyota sienna LE front 3157A. With small circle shape reflectors, the zevo amber led bulbs works wondering and keeps the light output full. Looks very oem plus. If it’s a large housing like modern F250 trucks, the zevo 3157A will not be bright enough and the led only face backwards, and not covered with a 360 type. On the 7440 rear amber turn signals for the zevo bulbs, or maybe small yet narrow. But the 2sided rear turn signal wasn’t good enough. I’m wondering if a standard led will work, since the body of the Sylvania standard 3157A led work a little better. Because of the body is translucent, when the led lights is on, the body of the translucent will help spread the light a bit better. Just need to test them to see how it goes.

The maximum current draw @12volts for this unit is only 1amp. So a relay really isn't necessary but you can use one if you wish. The black wire lead is ground ofcoarse. The other leads activate different functions. Wire: Function: Red = 12V+, Red Light Black = 12v-, Ground Yellow = 12V+, Bright White Light White = 12V+, Dim White Light So take power to a toggle switch then wire the switch to whichever functions you wish to utilize. If you decide not to use certain functions of the Light. Make sure to tape or heat shrink those wire leads to ensure they do not make contact with anything one installation is complete.

They give them a run for their money. I have customers that run both Whelen and SoundOff that I think would agree.

Although that would have been a great added feature. You have to remember that the Feniex Fusion Dual Color units only featured two(2) programmable modes. The customer decided to utilize them solely as warning units because they wanted a drive mode(Red/White) and an on scene mode which is obviously the (Red Only). With the newer lightheads offering more options or the use of a control system such as BluePrint(SoundOff Signal), Core(Whelen), Pathfinder(Fed Sig), or Matrix(Code3). The added feature would have been possible. When consulting with the customer to plan the build we had deliver certain functionality within the confines of what the equipment could do.

@@412psekustomzllc7 very nice. Actually I found them on different online store and it took me awhile to find a specific 7443R. And they don’t make the Philips vision anymore, since I found out they discontinued it. So after I test them and do a side by side comparison between sylvania zevo 7443R vs. Philips vision 7443R. The Philips makes my red tail light beam pattern that aims at my white garage was bad. While it did create a taller and square shape beam pattern, I like it but it was pretty dim. Because the color of the red led was a bit more orange-ish red. Which I wasn’t expecting that type of color. And it’s as dim as the incandescent bulbs. So as a results. The sylvania zevo 7443R wins and I’m still running it to this day. On my 2015 Scion xB, with zevo it creates a nice wide rectangular beam pattern and that’s why I love them. If the Philips vision has a pure red color and not orange-red that’s less bright, I would run them. But I wouldn’t recommended. I love these type of led bulbs that shoots the led backwards and use our reflector housing for nice instense brightness. If only other aftermarket automotive light company should use those idea and make them easily usable led bulbs. It’s rare for zevo. Very unique design.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS for the SOS Bolt 2 Connect the Red / Yellow wire to switched (+) power, Black wire to (-) Ground and all White wires from all lights together that will be sync’d. PATTERN RESET: Momentarily touch the White wire to (+) power for ≥5sec. PATTERN SELECT: With light powered, touch White wire to Red Power wire for 1 second. LOW POWER DIMMING OR NIGHT MODE: Connect the Red / Yellow wire to (+) power then connect Green wire to (+) power to put light into Dim or Low Power mode. SIMULTANEOUS / ALTERNATING MODE SELECT: (When synchronizing more than one light) Connect Red wire to (+) power so light is flashing, then Momentarily hold the White wire to (+) power for >2sec, <4sec to toggle between Simultaneous and Alternating sync modes. Color 2 Flashing / Steady Mode Select: Connect Yellow wire to (+) power so light is flashing or steady ON, then Momentarily hold the White wire to (+) power for >2sec, <4sec to toggle between Flashing and Steady Modes for Color 2.
