There is no such thing as a healthy Scottish Fold, they are a 100 % affected. It's simply unethical to buy this breed. It's disturbing there are so many people like you who couldn't care less about the health and well-being of their pets.

BEST TIP: Don't get one, the cartilage mutation means they have joint problems and pain at 5 years old. Trust me, I have one from a highly regarded breeder, couldn't have a better 'pedigree'. The poor boy is suffering.

I have a Scottish fold too! Got her on august and I’m still struggling with her! We tried so hard for her to get comfortable but there’s times where she gets so scared out of nowhere! I tried holding her too but she hates it, I bought her a cute cat bed she hates it! She loves the ground!!! She’s lovely! I just need to be more patient and hope that she comes around more!!

Cute and cuddly cat...❤ I have to wake up our British shorthair every day 7 am. That is after I'm done preparing his breakfast. Usually he would meow once greeting us then munch his food. Pottie time after food, then play time. Looks like the litter sand you use produce a lot of dust. Perhaps you want to try Unicharm deo toilet sand. It doesn't produce much dust but it needs to go together with same brand toilet liner, kind of like thin sheet of pampers to absorb cat's pee. The litter sand does not clump, so it has to go with liner. I found the smell is much less than other brand litter sand which clump, ie Kit Cat. The liner is sold in pack of 10. I usually change the liner every 2 day as it would puff up slightly, due to absorbed pee. Litter sand could last up to 1 week. It's not really sand, it's more like small bits in tubular shape, and odourless (not scented).

As a new scottish fold owner as well, can I ask, does anybody cat ear become unfolded? Mine was fold then gradually in less then a month totally straight fold. Im confused
