In Romans 16:1-2 (KJV) you'll find Phoebe only as a servant of the church (a 'deacon' in new bible translations). And Appolos was not 'preached' by Priscilla but just expounded (explained) on the truth. Acts 18:26(KJV). Deborah (Judges 4-5) as well as Miriam(sister of Aaron and Moses) were prophetess and Deborah being a judge doesn't mean she was head of their sanctuary....priests were there to head/lead their congregation. True, men and women were created equal but God gave them different roles. ".....that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of christ is God." (1 corinth 11:3 KJV) And again in Eph 5:23(KJV) "....husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church..." God bless

We used to attend a church where the Pastor's wife alongside her husband exerted control and shared the pulpit ministry and it didn't appear to be any distinction between him and his wife in terms of exercising authority over the elders and congregation. It was fine, then ok for about 25 years but then most of the congregants have now left the church. I see it when you disobeyed God's word, destruction comes gradually but surely. So you can not quite detect the error at the beginning but in fact at the beginning it looks as if it was the mighty move of God.

This portion of the Bible speaks for all the churches as one can see in verse 33. What about 1 Titus 7-10 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, 8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, 9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. If you see the above verses, the scriptures addresses the teachers as he and not she. Another scripture 1 Timothy 2 :11-13 11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. Women has great roles but not the position of pastor/elder. There have been many women missionaries and we read their biographies. Church should be led by men only though women have great responsibilities in church working and helping the women folks and many other works other than pulpit ministry.

As per my understanding, women can also be given the title "Reverend" if men are given the same title, as it is a title of respect and spiritual authority, not limited by gender. Galatians 3:28 says, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

Adam & eve were made to have dominion togather. But after the fall in Gen 3: 16 = He shall rule over you. Woman lost her right to rule to gather. In old testament women was allowed to be a gate keeper at the tabernacle. Never a priest , so even in Jesus time during the transition we find many women helper & prophetess in helping in manual work of the temple but never an apostle or a pastor. 1 Tim 2: 12 I do not permit woman to teach. In TITUS u will see the implication of the pastor or bishop being a male. Women should not be in the church's TEACHING authourity staff. She can work as from women society side. Sunday school. There is no such thing as women ordination or elders in the bible. Don't conflate women role in ministry and ordination in the church. It is unbiblical to teach such things in few minutes of video. Need proper exegesis. I don't deny that women has plenty of role in Gods ministry but not as senior pastor or elders or ordinantion in the bible for women. And btw it is not inferiority complex but it is the role that God as given to men n women differently. To defend women's right to hold the position of head in the church.. people use Mary Magdalene and Deborah as an example..,but what u should knw is; Magdalene was just a messanger (she witnessed,she proclaimed, that's all) #Deborah was a prophetess,not a king.
