I would like to see way more production chains. It sucks when you have just a few production chains but a ton of people that need jobs.

Stone could be used to make different types of housing tier 3 or tier 4, etc. Infinite possibilities. The 5th thing about cosmetica i don't agree.. benches and stuff make it very quickly look like a theme park. Thé things added need to be drawn from medieval sources for example travelling merchants, priests, a schavot, hanging poles outside thé city, a news board, horses and mules etc. No benches and no lanterns, except maybe around thé Tavern. Also we urgently need an Abbey as religion was highly dominant during western medieval times. All thé things that could be added with thé Abbey could go crazy next level. For example a prestigious library, apothecary, etc.

1) I believe that people had their own small fields behind their houses to grow their own wheat when they were done working for their lord. So while people working at the farmhouse should make crops for you (to use for army and to put in the granary for cases of famine), they should be able to grow their own wheat, maybe paying a small fee for using a mill. 2)I also believe everyone was able to make bread on their own in their homes and didn't need a dedicated house for that, let alone the invention. 3)resources like clay, ore and stone shouldn't be available in absolutely every district. It was quite common that your village had a quarry and neighboring village had a claypit and you had to exchange materials to grow. Would be appliicable especially when all map is just couple km2. 4)I would avoid having roads everywhere from the start. There should be one "main" road, not necessarilly passing through all the districts, and as you expand, you need to make sure your new settlements have access. First you just design a dirt path that pilgrims and merchants will use to get there. It will get wider and flatter with use, you can also assign a wayfarer. Paths will be susceptible to weather and for example will get muddy (=unuable) in rain and create potholes. Also elevation will play important role in efficiency of faring, so you will try to find flattest path at the cost of making it longer. You will need to build bridges over streams and will try to give the road nice pavement to make it more usable (which would also make stone bit more important resource). Having good road network between your districts will be crucial for development as, again, not all districts have all the resources. 5)Why shouldn't you be able to make one time delivery between districts? 6)logging camps should make some amount of firewood as a side product using all the branches of the trees they fell. And firewood camps should use logs as an input resource. Doesn't make sense for them to do the same thing as loggers just to chop the logs a bit more next. Alternatively, I believe people could just pick firewood at clearings to great extent. It didn't have to be institutionalised. 7)finished buildings should assing one family automatically. How much time did I lose finding out that building was finished but noone started working there? All other games have that.

They don't have to make a variety for every vegetable but they can divide vegetables into general groups such as leafy vegetables, root vegetables etc. I can't tell the same thing for fruits such as grape which is essential for winemaking.

They say the game is located in Franconia, so it would be a crime to NOT add ponds. Carp is like our national treasury in the region and dates back over 1000yrs.

As food resources, plant accurate are onion, broad beans, lentils, pea. From animals I think apart from what you and others mention geese would be cool as they also provided feathers. I think it would be awesome to have burgage plots able to customise between those, as realistically you could have 10 geese a cow and grow different stuff. Also plagues and health. Also festivals, periods of lent or fasting and seasonal fest. Also appointing a village head as he was a thing back then. Also herbs, but not only picked in forrest, but farmed by monks in abyss. And making liquor out of it. Also i would like to see some sort of polution factor that affects health, from for example tanneries. Also I would like to see some change in burgage plots balance, at the moment you can have city made only with lvl 3, which is unrealistic becouse those were merchants and artisans not farmers. And punishments, pillory is a must for me ;) As well as more how religion affected everyday life, sending people to learn to write and become monk, beliving that god punished us with drought and such stuff.

There's another key resource which was crucially important in medieval times: SALT! We need rock salt mines and the possibility to import/export salt, which is not only an important spice, but also crucial for food preservation. Also with bodies of water come willows, which are the prime medieval material for basket weaving. At the current state, this game is just lacking too much important content to be considered more than an expansive demo. Hope development of EA will significantly speed up now that Greg has millions of € at his disposal from EA sales.

I had no problem producing food in less fertile regions. Between meat, vegetables, eggs, apples and berries I had no problem feeding my people for the first few years. It does require a lot of farming to get a decent wheat yield though. And flax and barley? Forget about it. I hope they implement being able to slaughter sheep for food and hides.

I think the biggest improvement Planet Coaster needs is a coasterbuilder in which you don't directly place track pieces but lay guides for a track laying robot. First you would draw the track's 2D footprint which we will call the footline. In every situation the robot will only travel above that footline. For the vertical guidance, nodes we will call hoops are placed along the footline. These can only be moved vertically and along the footline. When activated, the robot will travel along the footline flying through each hoop making a trail of track.
