Now that is a freaking haul! You can never go wrong with Sin City for cheap!! Nice pick ups on the captain harlock books too. I love those books...and ben dunn is awesome! WildC.A.T.s and young blood for free...damn man. That was great haul man! Hope you are feeling better brother!

@PghZombie ty brother. The Good Captains are for Davis Comic Finds. He just read Akira and I thought based on your recommendation, he would enjoy it. There was more there but I left some of the smaller mini series stuff. No way! Ben Dunn of Azalea and Ninja High School? I had no idea Yeahhhh! I managed to find all of the Sin City One Shots save Just Another Saturday Night but that one isn't on the nice sandy cover stock of these but I glossier paper so I don't mind so much. Man i maybe coulda been a little more greedy and got more at least WildCATS lol. That was awesome. I guess they aren't worth their weight to most ppl lol I'm gonna have my Sunday breakfast and watch your video. Have a great day my friend!

Then end it all with a meal and baseball,but NO ! going to Target to get groceries and a figure. Love it. One yr when Scott Lynn is big enough to see The Magic Kingdom, you and I can look at some comics. If you and your family are hungry for good Italian food, i have a nice place closer to my work. The local Italiano food might not compare to the recipes in your neck of the woods though haha Appreciate you very much my brother! Have a great Halloween! Kill or Be Killed is a pretty damn good read. i thought it was something my son would like so i would pass my copy on to him every month after i read it and he enjoyed it so much i just let him keep it. Jupiter's Legacy and Circle were both great comics. the show had it's moments but the pacing was horrible. it took the whole season to accomplish what was done in the 1st issue. it's pacing was like the opposite of the Invincible animated series.

Hey I do remember the fullerton library selling books by the bag during a winter sale that I once attended. I think that was the way I first read Superman For All Seasons. It was in really nice condition too. I guess the book had just fallen out of favor with the patrons or they got another copy but I loved that thing. Hardcover. I remember reading it at the DMV one rainy morning. Haha ahhh buddy I am so sorry to torture you during a sugar fast. You are a soldier refraining from all sugars including hard drink especially during sports. I can tell you alot of Dodger fans needed a stiff one after losing game 4. Man sorry I didn't grab those Starship Troopers. I really thought I might be able to find them for less but they are kinda rare Hey it's been great hearing those Halloween rhymes that you have been doing on the daily vids. If you have it handy try some of those Raleigh Jefferson Spooky Stories. Fun Halloween time stuff. I read one during a Halloween Special I did a year or 2 ago🎉 Yeah that Blade comic was stupid expensive. I don't know if it was because of it being a 9.8 or if the shop just wants alot Have a Happy Halloween Please Pet Lemmy The Halloween Ginger Cat For Me! Keep up the rooster art. Loved the Tony the Tiger One..😅😅😅😅😅

Dude, your risking it all talking in a Library. Actually, now that I think of it, I didn't see a librarian around, the things people will do to skip paying late fees Killer graphic novel and manga sections, nice having runs of stuff I just want to read but don't need to buy. Do you ever hit their sales when cleaning out stock, some libraries have great sale. The wife hits ours on it's last sale days and it is $5 bag load sale and she comes home with tons of books, dvd's and some comics if I am lucky. MMmmm Donuts! Thanks for the road trip it was fun, love the drive along video, makes me remember what it is like getting out and stopping some places fun instead of just errands. $300 for that Blade, I have a copy sitting in the garage. Crazy what the cards are up to, really need to see what I still have. Take us for a roller coaster ride! Shame on you for passing on a $1 Barbaric comic, that is such a fun character. Yeah, I am drooling over those Starship Trooper comics. Just had to go back to the muffins, one more day left on the sugar flush and you and Swagduhh keep teasing me That is a killer Vampirella cover! Wish we had short box sales around here or some more like you guys get, only get something that pops up once or twice a year here. Great vid, thanks for the road trip!

A Mr. Riggs 👋🏼 this was a great time I really enjoyed rolling around the city with you.. I live in a small town in Kansas we have no stores that sell books or cards I’m almost completely reliant on eBay for my collecting needs…. On the other hand if I had stores like the ones you showed today in my town I’d be broke!!! I would have definitely snagged that Holmes/Houdini books 😂… the cards were fun man we collect similar eras but I relegate my card collecting to just a few choice players that are special to my childhood mainly Jordan, Griffey Jr and Bo Jackson!! I would definitely watch more of these kind of videos take care brother 👊🏼

@@jacobbornowsky4013 Nice Jacob! So Jackson was the first player I ever PC'd. Do you also buy his football cards? Not as many of those i guess. Yes his stuff has had a real resurgence in popularity. I think its great! I remember that you also collect Barry Bonds if I'm not mistaken, but Griffey Jr! That's awesome. My 89 upper Griffey Jr has a binder burn for putting in set in 9 card sleeves..ahhhh! And it's a beautiful one. Or was hahaha oh well. Yes it is nice having a variety of shops to frequent, but I personally buy mostly from ebay as well. The convenience and selection just cannot be beat. It's so relaxing to just lounge and look for deals and maybe get some suspense on am exciting auction Ty so much. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the video. Was fun to make and I love reliving the muffins most of all Have a great day. I believe you're the first person from Kansas I've met and even more so I understand the bo jackson former royals collection haha take care

Fun walk and drive about video, a good watch. That card shop seemed nice, that's something I feel like we're lacking here. Quality card shops. I relate to the sentiment of enjoying when comic boxes aren't sorted. There's some fun to the unknown.

damn, that's my kind of sale. can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon. surprised to see Batman Gargoyle in the bargain bins already Rafael Grampa's art is amazing. Scar of the Bat is a good read, Batman as one of the Untouchables. always great to find Sin City and Savage Dragon in the bins. Sasha Knopf should've won an award for her performance in Blackmale!! Apache Skies, i've been feeling Leonardo Manco lately. thankfully the interior art on Surfer/Rune isn't by BWS, i thought i was going to have to buy another Ultraverse book for a moment there. a little irony having Zeck do one of the last Bloodshot books. i believe Bloodshots first appearance was the book where Jim Shooter swiped a Zeck Punisher and used the silhouette for the cover(adding a sword in one hand). good stuff Rig, those near mint sundays look like a great time.

@BigLbo brother thank you. You are a true blue friend. Not alot of ppl would be down for a 1 hr video at the beginning of the week. I appreciate you Hahahahaha I'd feel about as guilty af if you had to get another ultraviolet book on your to find list.. and I'm catholic. Feeling guilty for actions is pretty much whats up Yeahh ultraforce is pretty corny but at this point I'm pretty committed. Like ppl just a little younger then us by 5 or 6 yrs spending money to this day on power rangers. Hahahah what can they do? That shits in their DNA now. Fair play to them I'm going up to my quiet suburb apt and putting on blackmale tonight. This is the day I find it streaming and watch this. Sascha is a knockout and I'm effing glad to finally find her cover. Thank you for the vamp pimping my good man! Seriously? That is dope man, Batman Gargoyles being in there was a lucky score if it's a fresher release..I Seriously liked the one Grandpa did with FM called Batman DK Returns Golden Child. He has a gift for drawing wrinkles on top of wrinkles like Geoff Darrow meets Frank Quitely. Did his stuff Have a good week my man. If you find some activities in So Cal the weekend of Sunday the 7th that's the next dig at this dude cjs barber shop. If there's a concert or a wrestling show to make the 13 hr round trip worth it my offer stands dinner on me for the families. Warlord included. I know a good Asian all you can eat place but they close at 9p and it's the late digging that is the best fun and cheapest Take care

A fun bunch of books, I always like seeing the non-Campbell Gen 13s. I feel like those are often forgotten. Every time I see Vampi covers I fall in love. Something about that line of books in particular. Not sure I've ever seen Darkness issues that high #'d out in the wild. Loved Zorro growing up, been debating hunting down some of the really old books with him. Some really nice stuff in there, those late valiants are always fun to see grabbed on the cheap. @DrahcirsComicsandThings that sounds terrific! I could definitely see some nice vintage Zorro books fitting right into your collection nicely! I don't know if they've ever done black and white photo covers from the 60s TV show that Disney did, but that would be really cool! But I absolutely understand your want to.go back much further Yes! Vampi books are always so stunning. I feel a combination of vampirella and vampi. Super cool! Ty for opening my eyes to more different kinds of Gen13. Valiants towards the end of the line were a thrill to see. I need to see which runs are completed now Have a great week..ty for the comics talk and chill, richard!

Sweet Sale Deals, I could see myself stuck there all day! Nice that there is entertainment in the background. Gotta take the freebies, I got most those runs and loved the WildC.A.T.S., Cyber Force, Gen13 covers but couldn't get into them enough to read more. Plan on trying again when I get to them if I could quit buying more comics and never getting to the past piles. Awesome deals, I would have a hard time not walking out without a few long boxes full. I need to get all mine CLZ'd because I know I am doubling and tripling up. Gonna get the Ebay store replenished with some new listings the next few months to downsize. Could join Rob and Aaron with the claim sales, I have fallen into an addiction with those and checking the Ebay live sales which is not good but worth saving the gas for certain comics. Missed the last big sale cuz wife was on a trip back home during it, not sure what else will pop up this year, glad you found a good one. Great video love the haul!

Nice well like you said in your last pod, it's better to be buying from cool people on KZbin then being rushed by random people on whatnot. I have seen the ebay live streets but you make a really good point about the saving on gas money. Indeed! Getting to and itemizing long boxes we have is some of the most tricky business that we have as collectors. Yeah Wildcats and Gen13 and Team7 and Wetworks are tried to incorporate the government into the stories but I don't think Brandon Choi knew the recipe at least gen13 is fun and played like a cute sitcom. Boy id love to get rolling on the clz but, man! That may just be a whole other can of worms haha. Have a great rest of your week. Thanks for watching! A Mr. Rigg 👋🏼 Ghost Dog is Way of the Samurai is so bad ass!! Have you seen the anime Afro -Samurai?? It’s really good .. Dude BARBARIAN!!! 😳 I thought I had that movie all figured out… boy was I wrong!! Hey Kevin Sorry i didn't get back at ya Saturday. We been moving all that cargo for the new year. A Vampirella Christmas special sounds real good. Shes kind of festive already for sure Yes i wish we could of had more contemporary DarkHawk. Who knows. I kinda thought it sound well but i could be wrong. Yeah Spawn stuff sells itself. The character was more popular than ever a couple years ago Have a good one. Loved that werewolf mask. Perfect fit awooooooooooo!

Brother I know! How cool is it that Billy in Gremlins had the Conan book! I think Billy is a young comic artist in the movie! Haha thank you brother! Man yes i try to keep it clean and not feel or look like a dont give a care so the long sideburns come into effect. Maybe all the Wolverine comics are going to my head😅😅 Man i want to see the Superman meets Vampirella comic..realizing theres only room for one brunette in Metropolis being Lois, but what if Mogul used some dark forces to bring on the evil and it lures Vampi to the city..throw in doomsday for good measure and weve got the summer 3 part prestigious edition for summer 2025 All the best amigo. cool Art Thibert on inks books. I really enjoyed his recent Black and White Indiegogo project. I believe he just started a volume three campaign. Love your passion for 90s comics. I wish I was into comics then (all I wanted to do then was surf, surf, surf).

Thank you. I met Art in Ontario about 4 yrs ago. His inked pieces are so beautiful in person I just bought a poison ivy print off of him but I was really impressed Glad the 90s were all about surfing for you. Love me some Vampi, Vampirella has a fun looking X-mas special out this year. Been thinking of selling some Spawn off, recently heard rumors of a new movie based off King Spawn. I should be getting close to completing my Darkhawk collection, I like the new run they did but too short and no news about it doing anything else. Just picked up a Hulk Pitt cover at one of the recent claim sales. Definite Joker Gene Kiss kids cover, Gene will take advantage of anything. Surprised they didn't put out more comic off shoots than they did.

Brothers RIGGS!! i love comicbook shout outs in movies. The 1st comicbook i spotted in a movie was as a kid i watched Gremlins and in his bedroom he had a Conan comic on his desk. I thought that was awsome. Bro i love your pistol grip side burns NICE !!! Im digging your T-shirt too. Your on the wolverine train brother. Great books. Miracle man 3-D. Cool. Ty brother! Ketch was the man for his time Man McFarlane in that era was destined gor bigger things but in hindsight I wish he stayed on marvel. We'd have amazing stuff by him.. it'd mean alot more to me than spawn. Imagine if Todd did 20 issues of Cap or Power Man. Marvel shoulda offered him a million dollar deal. It could of rewritten history

That Lobo Kelley Jones 😳 😳 I had to put that on my list to grab.. the editing was on point this video.. man I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when I was searching for the comic in Lost Boys about vampires just to find out the sad truth!! Mcfarlenes wolverines during that era was peak.. there was some great artists/books highlighted n this video… you have peaked my interest in Quesada I’ll have to pay more attention that thumbnail pic of the Thing is crazy good 👊🏼

you know the comic shop from Lost Boys is still open? it's not on the Boardwalk anymore but it's still in Santa Carla, Atlantis Fantasyworld is the name of the Shop. they actually have the prop issue of Vampires Everywhere used in the movie and let people take pics with it.

Hahaha too Awesome, Jacob!! Yes I wish I had a definitive Kelley Jones list of all his work including odds and ends and little known covers and pin ups. I'm rarely if ever disappointed😊 Very cool of Lee to have some info on that Blackthorn Vampires book from The Lost Boys. Gotta love The Frog Bros and Cory Haim talking some comics. Great times.
