Appreciate your vulnerability & honesty at the end, it takes alot to be able to open up like that. Your childhood story resonates with me greatly, i too have those same feelings, i always wanted to play sports, I liked all sports, i was a tomboy and i enjoyed riding bikes, skateboarding, skating, basketball, baseball, at that time we had no internet, our neighborhood was our playground. My mom never put me in any sport or activity, I'm the youngest of 6 sisters and none of those hefa's ever picked me up or took me to school or signed me up for anything, they were too busy being in toxic relationships and starting families outside of wedlock, so much toxicity in the family, but for me it affected me differently than you, in the sense that i actually became my own cheerleader in life and now i put my children in every sport/activity available. I want them to try everything and then choose what they like and want to continue. Everytime they have a competition or awards it gets me in my feel's because of my childhood. I understand and I get the not having money for activities/sports but the fact that i wasn't worth the time for my family to even talk to me/play with me, get to know me, thats what still hurts and i am working on that. Its hard to work on when my family never wants to touch on the past, I've had to work on my healing and not expect them to understand me. I'm healing through being the parent i wish i had. God bless us all, we are all on our journeys to try and be better humans.

When Johnny and Mike spoke about the effect of being the youngest child and not being taken seriously, even when we have knowledge & wisdom beyound our years 😩😭 -crying in pushed aside and overlooked youngest child. This is one of the reasons i dont look forward to get togethers & holidays. I have to pump myself up to hang out with them, especially now that ive given my life to Christ. This is why parents who model good communication & apologizing when wrong is very important. i see it in a lot of families, nobody wants to admit when they're wrong and it stems from parents and grandparents never taking accountability, and the older sibling's constantly wanting to maintain the attention/spotlight and not admitting their wrongs. To be honest i feel like us younger kids end up being the ones that break generational curses and heal childhood wounds head on.

I would like to share something. I went to my parents and told them I forgive them because I was holding resentment towards them once I did that I felt free. I understood that they did the best they can and it wasn’t their fault they didn’t know any better they just did, what their parents did to them and understanding that brought a lot of healing to my soul and spirit. Wow!!! That what you said about what am I doing with my life. When you feel like you have nothing going for your self that hit me, like wow that’s what I been feeling and it’s so true if this is what God has for me why can’t this just be enough and be happy. Trust me I give God thanks for what I have but sometimes I feel like I’m not doing enough. I’m a mother of 9 and a wife and have always worked until like 4 yrs ago and I think that’s why I been recently feeling this way cuz I’m so use to working and doing everything. Thank you for sharing I need to take a sleep back and be content with all the blessings that I have.
