If you make a power station away from your base. Start with one to three corridors connected (add two corridors for every pair of solar arrays) but allow you to place two outside batteries per corridor. Build a couple rows of corridors to have a power station set up for the whole area. @19:30 I've seen back-to-back Medium storage locker along the wall of a big room and or on it side with one next or on top of each other with name plates above and below for each locker.

I actually found iridium asteroids near the edge of the toxic zone, then pushed them out of the cloud with the car so I could mine them in the clear. (I guess I “summoned” them to safety? 😂). It was much slower, but made for a fun physics game for a few minutes.

If you go to the yellow dome there are celestite plants that can give seeds when you harvest them. These can be grown in the hydroponic machine.

I’ve never had a summons vehicle disappear, just your luck. I would advise placing two small auto miners for iridium if you need a lot in a timely manner and don’t want to bother with manual mining. Building the large auto miners is a resource hog, to include iridium, and you need a lot of iridium for their manufacture.

It is a bug where the Summon disappear in different situations, particularly if warp and then reload game, even if saved. Safest to park it before leave the game. Theta-12 have a small usable surprise if go far enough away from portal (1-2 mins). Suggest bring vehicle bay and teleporter and miner.

Yeah, had the same issue with the VMF, where a save-load helped. One trick for Iridium is to jump out of the vehicle in the toxic green zone and mine when close to an ore rock.

A moonpool is on itself a surprisingly efficient base. It is a moonpool (duh), it is efficient to enter / leave, its top does keep oxygen even if broken or unpowered, and it has a lot of wall /floor space to mount suff. Its only drawback is that you can't mount the stuff that needs a floor node (bioreactors, containments...), but then again, you can't service your vehicles in a large room, so...

Can not build a base inside the squid cave. Teleporter can be placed in the vehicle bay, like to the right of the color panel. Also Power cell charger can be placed in the vehicle bay, storage too.

Hey, I just saw that you are playing this game. It's just like Subnautica, you go to locations in a progressive steps. Going out their and building your main base instead of a near by the starting location made you go out of order of finding stuff. But you do you. A suggestion, away from your main base build a "power station farm", start with one corridor add two solar panels and two batteries. When you need more power, add additional two corridors, two solar panels and four batteries (or a half corridor and a full corridor, but a half corridor cost the same as a full, with out the slots for the batteries.) I've seen people build a starter base above the plateau below the starting pod and build their power farm above the starting pod under the cliff face. And when you make a mining station: a corridor, a miner, two solar panels and a battery. @ 5:27 Use the laser, keep firing and move backwards. And they do have a timer to blowup.

7:30 fun fact: you dont actually need your radiation suit's helmet, so u can use the rebreather with the RS i guess idk why but why not am i right? [ also works for other suits like reinforced suits etc]
