General Information A landmine probe is a handheld tool used for subsurface inspection to detect the presence of landmines or other hard objects in the soil. It’s typically used in conjunction with other detection methods, such as metal detectors or ground-penetrating radar. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Operation Insertion: Carefully insert the probe into the soil at an angle to avoid triggering the mine’s primary trigger. This angle helps prevent accidental detonation. Probe movement: Slowly move the probe through the soil, inch by inch, to sense the presence of a hard object. This process is called “prodding.” Detection: If the probe encounters a landmine, it may produce a distinct signal or resistance, indicating the presence of a hard object. Verification: Once a potential landmine is detected, verify its presence using additional methods, such as metal detection or visual inspection. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Alternative Uses Landmine probes can also be used as tent stakes, positive blocks for large objects, or marlin spikes to break knots.

Yeah, this is one of those things I want to see demonstrated on a car window before making a purchase. It just doesn't look like it would work to me, but I could be completely wrong.
@@penitentialarts if you do a KZbin Search you can find videos of this exact product punching out windows with ease. People go to scrap yards and bust out the windows of old worthless vehicles. They work great. Just not for a “safety window” aka your front windshield.

This is also useful for LE. I watched a video about one Department issuing their officers with essentially pieces of spark plugs in tiny throwable pieces. Something about that material and how it’s microscopically “edged” will induce a crack in glass (and shatter it) with frightening consistency. Not the main window (which is safety glass and won’t “explode” but the back and side windows (which will explode/shatter). They use their glass breakers for extracting accident victims and rescuing children and pets trapped in vehicles. Works better than the “punch” style glass breakers or the classic D Cell Mag Light.

I have been doing this for years. With one of your titanium beads on 1/8” shock cord. However I never really “tested” the concept. In theory… it should work. But for 5.00… I think I’ll upgrade. I was once in Yellowstone driving the Grand Loop when I went off one of the steep mountain roads. Hit a huge boulder and flipped my truck. Thankfully I stayed on the right when I flipped becasue it was a huge drop on the other side of the road. I probably would not be here. But I ended up upside down in the snow and in a small creek (water flowing in the ditch). I had to bush out my drivers side door window with a flashlight. A small item like this would probably have done that job well. A piece of “jewelry” but with an actual function. But you could easily secure it around your seat belt or something similar. When you need a window broken out… it’s usually not a good situation and you might find yourself upside down in water. Just some thoughts. CountyComm has once again come up with a product I am going to buy. CURSE YOU!!!! LOL

Not identical, but very similar. Perhaps made for Maratac by Fenix since they came out with a V2.0. The TopoTorch is less expensive and you lose the red. I mostly still use white, but have been using red more recently and have more flashlights that offer it.
