If anyone has access to govx, it’s discounted 20% for about $70. For veterans/military and probably police can access govx. There’s other discounted gear there too.

These would make a great cats paw and then some. Make a chisel out of the bulkbill, the point is a perfect punch/nail set. You could sharpen the points of the claw on the other end to help getting sunk nails. I'm already seeing myself adding a nail puller to the "chisel" end as well.

Is there only 1 version of the x3 ? In Australia it retails at around $130 - there are a couple of websites showing $90 and they are saying its original. Is that suspicious ? And all have wireless charging case

I recently purchased this watch, but I cannot get it to stay running for more than a few hours. I jump-start the movement by gently shaking the watch before putting it on, just as I do with all my other automatic watches. I'm a watch collector, but this one only runs for a few hours before stopping. I am relatively active during the day, so I don't understand what the problem is. I'm about to send it back because, for $500, it should work properly! Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thank you!😥

Been waiting for the radios to be back in stock. I like the USB C charging port as most everything I own has moved to this plug/port style. A definite improvement. I love the size and the design of this little radio. I have one in my bathroom, in it’s Derlin stand, to come on (by alarm) to my favorite weather station in the morning. I like the getting the weather in the morning and I never have to touch the radio. It’s just a great “no frills” little radio.
@donaldstrader724113 күн бұрын
Since I will no longer buy anything that does not have USB C that is one big plus. Now if it would just be able to receive the NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR), so it could be part of my emergency preps here in Florida, I would be so happy. I suspect it still does not have that capability, but I hope I am wrong.

USB-C, but only 5v? That's no faster.
@fixman8814 күн бұрын
The BL-5C battery it uses only takes 5 volts.
@kchiem14 күн бұрын
@@fixman88 That battery takes less than 5v. It's irrelevant to the claim that USB-C here charges faster though.
@fixman8812 күн бұрын
@@kchiemThe back of my GP-7 with Micro USB shows ‘5 Volts 500 ma’, which is interesting since my Baseus power bank shows 600 ma in when I plug it in. If everything else about the radio is the same then his claim about ‘charging faster’ is going to be incorrect. Yes, USB-C can charge faster but that requires a PD capable charger and cable, plus the device has to support it (my iPhone 15 Pro can charge at 9 volts, one of my Bluetooth speakers can charge at 12, and two of my Chromebooks can charge at 16. My Baseus power bank itself charges at 20 volts).

5:33 I'm a professional pilot and always have a red light on me but its always a single function red only light. Four clicks to get to red won't cut it. And I'll never use something with a strobe function as a red light. I would inevitably be bumping around in turbulent clouds at night in a rainstorm with a system malfunction somewhere (been there) and in the heat of the moment I would hit that strobe first by accident and blind myself making the red pointless. The golf ball dimple grip pattern is unique and very cool too. I'd love to kno how they quantified "grip" so as to come up with that 350% figure though. I smell a bit of salesmanship there. 😂 You never mention what kind of battery it takes: 18650. Some would probably assume this based on the dimensions of the light which you mentioned but still good to say so explicitly. And thats definitely the battery to use these days.
@levisorenson78737 күн бұрын
I have this light. The discussion of the grip could be a bit of salesmanship, but the pattern is very "grippy." I'm not inclined to think it's a gimmick or just a sales pitch. I think it was done with intentionality. Something you could easily hold with wet or sweaty hands without worrying about dropping it. You can pinch it with two fingers and shake and swing it around and you won't drop it. I'm not a pilot so I totally respect that you know what you need and what works for you, but I will say it's not easy to accidentally end up in the strobe mode. You really need to be intentionally clicking the button the required times to get there. The moonlight mode is very very dim. And that's easy to get into if you are trying to. The red light mode also works great, but needs to be done intentionally, it's not like something you'll accidentally wind up in. Overall, I'd say it's a simple flashlight that does what it's designed to do very well. And it's sturdy as hell. EDIT: I've got a few other products with that ball grip pattern, and it does grip really well. On smaller items, it almost feels abrasive with how well it grips. I understand the skepticism towards sales talk, but I think that type of grip design pattern is legit and does what it claims.

2:52 An end mill with a ball shape to it rather than a "ball mill" which is a rotating drum full of heavy balls which fall down onto objects being tumbled in them to grind the objects or their surfaces, presumably. I would definitely put this in my emergency kit/go bag/bail out bag etc. that red flash every 7 seconds for two years is very cool and something I've never seen on any other light.

Well, being former military and contractor, if this was government requested in this configuration, it proves once again, it was by a desk jockey. This looks like a great light. I love an EDC flashlight that has a red light mode, but since I use the red light to preserve my night vision, or to navigate my house without waking my wife up, having to cycle through the white light first kind of defeats the purpose. I would love for it to go from off to red directly without having to cycle through white. Maybe press and hold for a long time?
