I am someone living in a West European country with all the freedoms for women we have fought for. I am also someone who got taught by their parents how do dress properly. The first woman wasn’t dressed properly. You don’t need to invite such behavior by showing too much. Her body language was also very insecure, another invitation. This isn’t about victim blaming but about not to become one!

“Suddenly Autistic” and “Suddenly School” are books I wrote 😊. I did everything on my own and was still awarded first place by Amazon in the “Biographies of People with Special Needs” category 🎉. Because of my works, a psychiatrist got her doctorate ❤. So there is a lot of useful information in it 😁.

Funny how men call women girls…is it bc they don’t grow up? Or is it a perversion? This was normal in the old days, they called us girls until around menopause..haaaa

lol…. The look on his face… (1st father…). All y’all fathers out here need to step up and teach these offensive men that this is inappropriate. Because obviously they don’t listen to us when we tell them. But when y’all (meaning men) stop making this acceptable behavior men will (in general) behave acceptably. But as long as there is someplace to go back and find support for their offensive behavior, they will continue to feel empowered to do it. And yes, you’ll notice that these men don’t do it when the ladies are accompanied by another man. Why? Does it make her less of a sister? Daughter? Mother? Aunt? Whatever? Does it make her less worthy of being treated with respect just because she doesn’t have a male escort available for her protection at that time? Anyone answering yes to that question IS a part of the problem. Anyone making excuses about the reprobates filmed acting like this is part of the problem.

I can understand this being terrible, but often what we wear if it's revealing me will think your easy, you may not be. I don't want to come off judgemental but layer up, be modest it may help. But no noone should do this, it's disrespectful to ythe daughter, this is someone's sister, auntie daughter. ❤❤Jess x let's respect love in a way that is healthy.

Women are human beings. But for men it only matters when its someone related to them. Every other time they dont care that its a human being being harassed by another man.

When I was almost 30, I visited Europe and the US for the first time, and that’s when I first learned what catcalling was. I experienced it almost every day and saw it happen to others too. Having spent my whole life in Asia, I used to think women’s rights were better in Europe and the US, but honestly, I’m not so sure anymore. You can’t walk alone at night as a woman, and even in crowded places, you still get catcalled. It made me wonder-could women’s rights really get any worse than this?

The firt time I was catcalled I was 10 years old, I told my mother and she told me that men are shameless and when she was around 7 months pregnant with me they still did it. I've been followed by men too as a minor and as an adult to the point of having to call the police.

That happened to me when I was 15 with auto workers. We were touring the GM Trans AM plant in the States. It was embarrassing for me. I think some men need to get caught doing this and feel the wrath of the Dads or brothers. My Dad would have protected me and those guys would be hauled up in front of their supervisor. Unfortunately for me, I was with my friend's family and they didn't support me. It was creepy.

Many men treat women alone, or in group, as public property and try to wear the woman down with need for attention. Even if all they want is someone to smile, nod and not punch, they use women for the emotional needs. It's as if women were functional public property.

I hate to say it, but the third father, without even knowing it, has a similar mindset as these men he's angry at. He heard the men's comments and, while a little perturbed, didn't disagree with them: "You are very nice!" "You are beautiful!" He did his best to ignore the undertones, the actual intentions of these comments. But when the last man insists she take his number, and give it to her husband, very blatantly saying "yeah you got a husband but I don't respect his 'claim' on you", THAT'S what finally angers her father. When her husband is insulted. That's the disrespect he draws a line at. He'll tolerate his daughter being disrespected because, well, she's beautiful! It's bound to happen right?? But don't you dare tread on the man she belongs to... it's sad. I realize he simply comes from an older mindset, but it's tiring to see.

When I was a young woman I had to walk around town a lot due to lack of other transportation. I often got catcalled. I would ignore them but it was such an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I remember thinking: "Someday I will be old and men won't bother me anymore. I so look forward to that day." Eventually, I did get old and they stopped bothering me, much to my great relief. Why do some men think it's okay to harass women who are minding their own business?

Catcalling women is so disrespectful and the men that do it know it is because if you did it any female in their family, like their mother or sister they would want to fight you.

The DP should also not be legal purely based on the innocent men that have lost their lives. There’s no excuse. That alone is enough to deem is unconstitutional.
