What a joke these Michelin blades are to install..................................
@gfotinakes31628 күн бұрын
They seem to work well for me. My only complaint is that the high ozone in the Los Angeles area eats up the blades after about two years.
@deecee283728 күн бұрын
The required C2 connector was prominently marked something like A2, but upon closer inspection, it was also marked PN C2. I feared the C2 connector was not included with the Michelin Guardian wiper blades from Costco, but they were, & I was able to innstall them. Between the vague intructions & the connectors having dual markings, I'm sure many with side-lock wipers needlessly return them.

Sorry for your trouble. Return your purchase to Costco for a full refund. Have a nice holiday.

@@gfotinakes316 Sounds like your ankle is doing very well! I'm sure it feels great to be able to drive again and get your mobility back although the ankle didn't seem to slow you down! I hope you got a nice rain today. Don't know what part of the US you're in but I've seen on the news where the N/E states have been in a severe drought and battling serious wildfires. They were supposed to get rain so hopefully that will help matters a lot. Oh yes, I'm always "making sawdust" but only for my own enjoyment. I make gifts for my friends and neighbors. Also make items for the AZ Humane Society's big fund raising auctions. I took 4 years of college woodworking and worked at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware for 10 years so I got a lot of experience. It's more fun for me to make things as gifts or donations than to sell as long as I am able to do so. 🙂

I like that Knee Rover. Looks like it will be comfortable to use with the air filled tires. The "seat" appears to be soft which will cushion your knee. where can I buy foam wood and supplies?
@gfotinakes316Ай бұрын
Where are you located? I live in Orange County California and I bought mine at a place called, "Foam Select", in Santa Fe Springs near Los Angeles. You can check around at construction stores in your area (not big box like Home Depot) but stores that deal with contractors etc. Check also with contractors in your area, they will know where to get these materials. Let me know how it turns out.

Donnie, I have used these a lot in my science class, and after years, they have not worn away more than 1/16". Someone with this on their keychain would have it more as a novelty but it could give them 20-30 starts before it ever got to the wood. Thanks for your comment.

OH NO......so sorry to hear you injured your ankle! The Knee Rover looks like a nice unit that will be a big help to you getting around while you're healing. Maybe after your ankle is doing better or has healed you can find some tires that would work for using it outdoors in case you or a family member needs to use it in the future. I know you like to improve and work on things. Meanwhile, you should have plenty of time while you're healing to design that "Catio" for your fur babies. 🤣 Sending you best wishes from AZ. Take care and GET WELL SOON!!!

Thank you for your concern. Actually, you read my mind. I sent the Knee Rover back and ordered the one with air-filled tires. It is much improved. Today is day 17, and my ankle is feeling much less pain. And about the catio, I looked up designs after you suggested catios. I now realize that I don't need a catio because I now live in a catio...it used to be called my home! Ha Ha. Have a great Fall now as the high temps break for you. I once went to Phoenix this time of the year to a science teachers' convention. It was so beautiful!

I'll tell you the truth, it looks as good as the first day I painted it. If you undercoat the paint, put a good layer or two of latex enamel, you are good for years. I hit a garage door corner trim with my trashcan last year. All it took was a little stucco patch and touch-up paint, and it was not even visible. I hope you give it a try. Get a friend to work with you; you won't need all the support beams to hold up the first lower piece. Good luck!
