I’ve had the opportunity to help young and hungry entrepreneurs a few times, and what’s wild is how lenders / banks / credit unions just prefer 9-5’s more. My friend Steffen is another example, when in fact these motivated and ambitious young people with unbelievable work ethic are really the most viable out there. Bri’s parents, great friends of mine, have instilled something in her that you just can’t get with genetics alone, it’s just great parenting and she’s really taken the reigns of her life, her parents couldn’t be more proud. I mentioned that the Red Sauce Rebellion building on Water Street was going to be owned by Danny Del Prado. While it’s true that Danny Del Prado was considering buying it, he ultimately decided not to pull the trigger. Instead, Chef David Fhima stepped in, bringing his incredible culinary expertise to the heart of Excelsior. Chef Fhima is well-known in Minneapolis for his amazing restaurants, including: - **Fhima's Minneapolis**: A modern French-Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Minneapolis that highlights his Moroccan, Spanish, and Sicilian heritage. - **Maison Margaux**: A stunning French brasserie in the North Loop, celebrated for its classic French cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Now, Chef Fhima is planning to open a new Sicilian-inspired restaurant right here in Excelsior. It’s clear that exciting things are happening on Water Street, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see our community evolving with such vibrant energy. 8 years and it's enough of an issue that lawyers were about to get involved? The roof on my house is over 120 years old and I had to replace a grand total of 4 tiles over the last 15 years. But i suppose those issues are to be expected when you build your houses out of dry wall and good intentions.

@@RealTalkGeo I don't live in the states at all, I live in central europe. We have no roofing insurance in that sense, we have generalized house insurance that includes the roof.

@ I’ve been to Central Europe often; I have family in Germany and Poland, insurance plays a huge component in mortgages in America, I will say that mortgage in Europe and USA are very different too, many I’ve heard are variable in Poland for instance.

@@RealTalkGeo Then I'm sure you know the kind of roofs I'm talking about ;) 2-inch thick interlocking solid Ceramic tiles. If you ask a roofing company to inspect those, they usually look at you funny and ask "why?"

@ Yes indeed; I’m sure your home is built like a fortress in comparison to many (most) of ours, my Mom lives in the Baden-Württemberg region and it’s just a phenomenal built home, the great trade off however is those homes are built well, but the energy costs are extraordinary, whereas ours in America are much more reasonable (in comparison). I absolutely love the materials of homes in Germany, but the electric / gas bill seems illogical for a modern society.

@@tulabead hi tulabead, technically the home was depersonalized, often times when a home is so hyper personalized with art and colors, that it becomes challenging for anyone to envision it for themselves, that’s what happened in this case, it was purposely muted so that buyers could feel what it would be like with their own style and aesthetic choices.
