9:05 CORRECTION: The oil pump tube is NOT welded to the bottom of the oil pan, lol. I'm still trying to find more information to make sure I can wheelie again :D If you know anything about this, please drop a comment!

In this video, I literally just took off the catalytic converter, lol. I would recommend getting a mid pipe and slip on. Either way... Great bike. Ride safe!! Thanks for watching :D

I have a 2009 yamaha r6 pushing a unlocked tune with velocity stacks and aftermarket headers plus a yoshi 3/4th's exhuast and I think your ride ROCKS MAN!!!

gsxr's that have k1-9 means the years from 2001-2009. So when a vid or someone says "k7 gsxr" as example it means 2007 gsxr

We all deffitnitly thought you died i saw a part 1 to a new bike video and never a part 2 2 years later it was pretty sad no one would do that you think he must of crashed making part 2. Espcially when i watch part 1 now and its a old bike and your riding dangerous flying around turns were there could be a person coming out of one of those driveays pulling out you. You gotta realize the difference between breaking a bone and shattering it most sports arent this dangerous you should look for good roads with no driveways on google maps and always go down it slow first to check for oil and gravel and new pot holes

I totally agree. Making sure the environment is as safe as possible is the most important thing! I will be doing track days here coming soon. No road is as safe for riding hard as a track! Thank you for watching the content :)

Glad you're back. I thought the worst had happened. Will miss the fz1 content, but it's all good. We've all taken breaks. I sold my zx14 after I hadn't ridden it for like a year. A few more years went by and I bought the fz1. It's no 14, but not slow.

Fz6 is fun too. People sleep on these trims just not knowing. I’ll have the fz1 at some point as well. Too comfortable and quite fast. Cheers

I've recommended the FZ6 to many people as a starter bike. So much fun. I've ridden a few of them, and it's never a disappointment!

My FZ1 has not been "stressed" that well. I used to track ride my RC51 and a gsxr750 so those would hit top speed regularly. That liter bike power range is nice, comfortable city riding, and damned impressive until the gearing limits you out. This bike would be a blast on a track day but the suspension seems so soft compared to my sport bikes, that could be an issue. Its cold and wet today, i want to ride...

2nd gen fz1s are notorious for rotor magnet issues anyone who has a 2nd gen replece it with either a rm stator or a fatory yamaha one.. they are ticking time bombs its not if it will happen it when it will because it will eventually happen.

Have ridden (daily) with 3 broken ankle in past 8 months you can still shift down with a broken foot, and you can tie a rope to your left hand to shift up just let go of the throttle pull the clutch and use your right hand pull up on rope🎉 send it like me

Technically no but in this case the fz1 isn’t a supersport like the r6 . The fz1 isn’t a top end bikes like the r6 anything passed 140 mph the r6 would catch up

@@kiloramirez9382 thanks man, I have a 2008 Zx6r and the thing screams, but A: I probably wouldn’t try to race anything with 1,000 on the side lol and B: I bought my bike for saving fuel in the summer so I don’t ride to hard anymore

@@kylewooton608 yeah I have a 2009 fz1 it’s super fast and I can still beat 600s but when I’ve raced other 1000s like r1 or zx10 I do get beat after 140 mph I use my bike to commute and to just ride around the canyons definitely don’t need more speed than the fz1. Fastest I hit in the dash is 160 idk if it goes faster than that or not

I just went from a 1994 VFR750, to an 2007 FZ1. I do miss the sound of that V4 , but the power of the FZ1 is way better. Nice content!

Noice to see the cross plane not just run away and you staying with it for a bit … I’ve not got balls to bring my used 09 fz1 much passed 100 yet ….old guy just getting surety(making sure bikes good to go for sure ) before I get too crazy .mine has sprocket change already ,I have new 16/47 combo chain to install , but curious ….seems 160 mph will be top speed ? Or others saying 174 or I don’t know …?

I TOTALLY LOVE my 2012 FZ1..!! I am NOT a "Racer" but I have done a few Track Days at Road Atlanta Raceway, and with a PC5 and full Yoshi exhaust, and a few other little 'tweaks', I top out at 175mph on GPS... in full street trim... just some masking tape over lights and mirrors... But my JOY is the Blue Ridge Mountains in North GA and NC, and the Dragon's Tail. But I am 71 years 'young' with several Artificial joints, thanks to a stupid cage driver running a stop sign and trying to kill me... So no high-speed wheelies for me, or even 'dragging a knee' (I have almost no hip rotation) but I thoroughly Enjoy Riding, and I 'keep up' with just about any other riders on the mountain roads. I enjoyed your video, it sounds just like my bike...whatever exhaust you are running. (I did not get a close look.)

I had a 06 FZ1 same as your 2012. It’s a R1 essentially. My friend totaled mine but I’m glad he’s ok. I now have SV1000s 996cc V twin slower but it’s still faster than 600s.

I really appreciate you, for your honest. You have a very short preiod of time on wheelies and still you can wheelies pretty well, or even better than just a pretty well. I would say, you can wheelie way more better, than average motorcyclist. And even better, than motorcyclest, that can wheelie. Almoust everyone can wheelie at 1 gear. I mean, front tyre up and just go as far as gear ratios will let you go at that one gear. Thats the typical wheelie from people, who really cannot wheelie actually. When someone really can wheelie, he/she can of course chance gears. If can shit up more and more, better you are. And not for least. All those 4 cylinders high revving engines are not the easyest one for wheelies. So, I say, you are pretty damn good for wheelies!! Trust me, I know how to wheelie. So, Just keep going man and keep wheelieing even more and more. Just becaus wheelis are awesome!! I prucieate you and your skills man!!
