It's simple. Its not on the rise. The amount of people risking coming forward for help has increased despite the help avalible or harm caused hasn't decreased. Society as it is now is designed to wreck people. The majority of normal people doesn't exsist the reality is we are all mentally differnt and problem is being told those differences are an illness. FIND ONE PERSON WHO IS SO CALLED NORMAL AND THEN SHOW THE OFFICIAL NORMAL CHECK LIST. you can't and won't because you won't find either the list or the fairytale normal person. Enjoy whatever madness this world sent you because somewhere in it is you true gift your super power.

The problem is that people with money decide about the future of our planet, and of course about all those disadvantaged and affected individuals. Mental illness is on the rise because our planet concerns all of us and therefore our health. Those who pretend that nothing is going on are the ones deluded. Also, if you think that you are mentally ill then you probably aren’t. You just want something that has a mysterious name, to blame. Don’t hate the person, hate the mental illness. Nature and peace heals Namaste 🙏

Preserving the diverse and delicate ecosystems of our freshwater habitats is crucial to prevent the alarming rate of fish species loss. From habitat degradation and pollution to unsustainable fishing practices, numerous factors threaten the survival of these aquatic wonders. What innovative approaches can we implement to ensure the long-term conservation of our freshwater fish populations?

Zoonotic diseases, where pathogens jump from animals to humans, pose a significant threat as the potential source of the next pandemic. With the increasing human encroachment into animal habitats, the risk of such spillovers is on the rise. However, advancements in early detection and effective response strategies could help mitigate the impact. What other measures can be taken to enhance global preparedness for the next zoonotic disease outbreak?

In my experience of a reason why were suffering more is because well, moms and dads don't stay together as they used to, so instead of working out differents, kids has to suffer abandonment, and then mommy or daddy gets together with another, and then child often has to idore, any and or all kinds of mistreatment and or abuse, that could be a reason because well back in the day mommys and daddys would actually stay together.

This is just nonsense they're using the chemical imbalance as an excuse so they can put people on pills this is just ridiculous the pills give you a chemical imbalance sure some people might be born with it in some rare cases but this is just an excuse to put people on pills so the pharmaceutical companies can make money tell the psychiatrist oh I'm depressed because I'm fat The Drs response is the reason why you're depressed because you have a chemical imbalance that's nonsense just work out and exercise then they want to give you pills to lose weight for example Wellbutrin they will just give you nothing but side effects unfortunately some side effects are permanent

Sustainability will require a new economic theory. My proposal is the Economics of Needs and Limits (ENL). This is based on a new economic LOGIC: the goal of sustainable well-being, production criteria set by needs, wants, and environmental limits, the assumptions of limited sources and strictly limited sinks, and the treatment of workers and consumers as human beings.
@n.8690

I like this idea. Will the ENL theory require a new welfare indicator? How can such a theory be applied in practice to change the predominant economic system?

Like most climate videos on KZbin, this one badly misrepresents climate history. The objective of the 1992 UNFCCC agreement, which was ratified in 1994, was safe concentrations. In 1995 the IPCC unilaterally shifted this to emissions reductions, a measure that results in further concentration increases. This was likely done to permit continued growth and maintain the status quo. The reason that climate conferences have been ineffective is that, since 1995, they have been chasing THE WRONG TARGET.

The once common (for the entire history of humanity, until the 20th Century) culture of living in local, intimate communities/neighborhoods of extended families collapsed after WWII; facilitated by the consolidation of businesses, schools, and churches made possible by the new found wealth and resulting proliferation of automobile and air travel after that war. This collapse is clearly a large, yet rarely mentioned, core cause of this rapid rise in mental illness, as well. Couple that with the deification of individualism by the Baby Boomers, and you have fertile soil for modern alienation and this epidemic of depression, anxiety and trauma along with the drug use/abuse that services the pain of these conditions.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of greenwashing going on in the "sustainable investments" world. SDGs, and "impact" are often used as a mere buzzwords in both private equity and even public calls sponsored by EU. While in reality the unsustainable (both environmentally and socially) projects get funded...It's disgusting...
