As a Khasi myself I would really like to thank you for highlighting our culture to the world..we are fighting a war against modernization every day.. It's a tough battle as the govt take no stone unturned to exploit our resources in the name of development... Preserving and prote cting our land at any cost...i got a lil teary eyed watching this.. Very nice video, it's in our interest that we maintain these cultures which help maintain a positive carbon footprint, afforestation, and combat the toxins and pollutants in the land and air. As it is, rapid development is increasingly making it a losing battle. These cultures are still fighting a battle against the human 'gray goo' that the rest of us are becoming. Not every green park and national park need be converted to the the urban sprawl of a software technology park...
