As a Khasi myself I would really like to thank you for highlighting our culture to the world..we are fighting a war against modernization every day.. It's a tough battle as the govt take no stone unturned to exploit our resources in the name of development... Preserving and prote cting our land at any cost...i got a lil teary eyed watching this.. Thank you

Loved the documentary, crisp and effective. Yes, we need to learn from the Khasis about how to be good caretakers of our surroundings!

Very nice video, it's in our interest that we maintain these cultures which help maintain a positive carbon footprint, afforestation, and combat the toxins and pollutants in the land and air. As it is, rapid development is increasingly making it a losing battle. These cultures are still fighting a battle against the human 'gray goo' that the rest of us are becoming. Not every green park and national park need be converted to the the urban sprawl of a software technology park...

Its brilliant how you captured all the things about this community. And how communities like these stand to suffer due to climate change. Loved the work the grassroots is doing. Good research put together by Subhrasmita. Keep up the good work.
