Agreed or not Efren is the best player in pool history. In terms of pool table he's still better than Ronnie O'Sullivan

@ 49:01 , the announcer says, "This would be Efren Reyes' first *break and runout* of the match..." but how is it a break and runout if he hits in an early 10ball? (combo from the 5ball) .I thought you need to run all the balls for it to be a "runout" , no combo-ing the 10ball early on a runout

I had too look who the commentator was when he said he gambled with CJ, and CJ and his partner didn't want to step outside with him. Danny Diliberto used to be a professional boxer with a record of 14-0-1 with 12 knockouts. I guess he trained with one of Muhammad Ali's trainers. Danny had to retire from boxing because he broke his hands several times. Danny's trainer said he would have became a World Champion in boxing if he didn't have the problems with his hands. They knew they didn't want to get in to a fist fight with Danny.
@jlobiafra Жыл бұрын
That trainer was the legendary angelo dundee, perhaps the most famous boxing trainer in history.

if efran had better luck on his break the game would have been his. and the old commentator seems like he's hating on efren

strickland, reyes, pagulayan. notice how unlike the very slow players of today, they have a certain rhythm and finish off the table if the balls are wide open, no need for a 30 second clock.
@Steve-ih2ql2 жыл бұрын
My instinct walking to table to shoot is other players, NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD OF SHOT THAT, cause i never would have seen it. And my reply is " The answer is no til you try thinking out da box!! Every shot has more than one way how to make it!! Moral of the story main thing is object ball made, but ain't worth a D Double Dogdam if cueball divorces you and never comes back to your way of thinking!!!! Lol
@Steve-ih2ql2 жыл бұрын
I didn't know why I always think differently than the people who are shooting but I would have cut 1 to 9 off 5 in side . So i tried it and made it, but different table and cue different player, different results!!!!!

Danny talks like he is always right when a player makes mistakes or error but I bet you, he cannot beat any of the 2 players. Any of these players can eat you up alive danny!! They will just play you like little kid!!

The commentator named Danny never like Efren Reyes at all.. Never said that Efren is good but always said negative about him..
@user-hh9ni8su3p2 жыл бұрын
Danny used to annoy me when I first started watching professional matches, but now after 5 years I would say he's probably my favorite. He's just got a good vibe about him, observational but not overly critical, and most importantly, when he gets proven wrong he admits it and gives credit where it's due. That last part for me is the most important. Many commentators will dig in their heels when they were clearly wrong, it's just arrogant. Danny is relaxed, smooth, and just seems to be enjoying the game. He doesn't overly value his own opinions. He very rarely seems full of himself, only occasionally but it's usually humorous when he comes off as a bit cocky. Just a great personality to have on the mic. And of course Jay is great too.

Danny was also a world class boxer in his younger days. He didn't pick up pool til later on. Plays all games well also. He's been a real grinder his entire life.
