This is bullshit....branches causing me time, effort, and expenses to clean up the blooming branches on my property. I cant kill the tree or damage it. I cant be recompensed for hiring someone. What is the point of their property vs my property?

In Arizona there are two seasons: Summer, from November to May, and from May through October, hell. It's hot as the surface of the sun, it's dry as a bone, the cartels operate throughout the area, the politicians are crooked, and there are hellaish dust storms. Electricity and water cost a fortune, the heat kills all batteries, and melts things left in cars. Home prices are through the roof and the state is running out of water..... I'd advise staying away.....🤣 PS If you do move to Arizona, at least have the decency to learn Spanish.

I’m moving to Avondale, going to be an airplane mechanic. I’ve been to Arizona maybe 1-2 in my life. So I don’t remember much. But is a pretty safe area? I’ve tried doing research. But I want your advice. I’ll be in Avondale for 1 years and 6 months. Maybe it could be home or just to get through school.

The people who say Phoenix is warm all year obviously don’t live here. It gets in the upper 30’s at night and low 40’s . I don’t think February is the worst month. For example the Phoenix open and sometimes the Super Bowl is here and it’s in upper 70’s and 80’s. Usually the sun comes out even when it says it’s going to rain. And you are correct about cloudy days in the summer. I love them lol. But if you love sun this is the real sunshine state, the suns out over 300 days easily maybe 325 days a year. That’s the the valley, not the entire state. Another correction for people is the entire state is not hot. Just north of Phoenix it’s temperate just like most of America.

Yeah you did this before the summer of 2023!! The month of July in Phoenix in 2023 averaged 103.7 degrees for the entire month!!! It didn't get below 90 degrees for 3-1/2 weeks and it was above 110 everyday for a month straight and above 115 for 15 of those days. On top of that I'm in my sixties and I have to work outside & by the end of July I was exhausted!! I've watched those temperatures back East when it's miserably warm and humid but it still cools off to the 70s at night! Imagine walking out your house at 4 a.m. and it's still 98 degrees and it hits you in the face like an oven in the dark!! My point is is I've been to Florida in July and August and 95° and humid isn't that bad as long as you don't have to work in it. If you do however that humid weather is miserable but this summer we had hundreds of people in the emergency room with second and even some third-degree burns on their feet because they decided to walk across the street barefoot!! In Phoenix in summer you can't touch anything made out of metal that's been sitting in the sun or you'll be taking care of another burn!!

Wow! Any part of Arizona that is cooler? or is it basically the same everywhere?
@jonhenke1504
@jonhenke1504 Жыл бұрын
@@teecup89 Head north from Phoenix to Flagstaff and when it's 110 in Phoenix its 85 in Flagstaff. Head to the eastern White mountains between the small town of Pinetop and Big lake and you have thunderstorms every afternoon when it cools down into the 50s and 60s. Phoenix is in a valley and with all the buildings and the roadways they've built in the last 30 years it's created a heat Island and it doesn't cool off at night anymore like it did back in the 1960s and 70s when it used to cool off to the mid-seventies. Now it doesn't get out of the 90s all night long! So yes there are numerous cooler spots than Phoenix and the desert areas!

Great video. I had a question. Do homes have basements? I ask because of the heavy rains season. Will a basement get flooded? I was just curious.
@livinginphoenixazinfo
@livinginphoenixazinfo Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching. There are homes with basements here, but they are not very common. Many areas of town have very hard solid or granite even, which can make digging a basement very challenging. 99% of the homes here are just on a concrete slab. I don't have much experience with basement homes, but I'm sure flooding is a concern like anywhere else.

Yeah, I have to disagree here. I visit my family there often. The heat is absoluteley unbearable. Everything needs to be done by 9:00 am for at least 3 months of the year with $600 electric bills. With the heat combined and scorpion problem, i am baffled as to why anyone would want to live there.

It was 122 in 1990.... 110 - 112 is not that bad. This summer and a couple of summers ago it was 118 - 119 for 6 - 8 weeks straight, all temps are taken in the shade. Tents are 145 inside. Levi's will dry in 15 mins, t-shirts take 7 mins, underwear 3 mins, beef jerky 1 hour. I keep a spray bottle to mist myself with if I want to sit outside, and in the evening I take my golf cart out and drive through the sprinklers on the golf course until wet and then drive down the main drag and stay nice and cool, by the time I am home I am mostly dry with some damp spots, that is how I combat cabin fever. I went to Sedona for 4 days to get out of the heat, it was 70 - 90 up there. Anywhere out of the valley up north is a cool down. I just got back day before yesterday to the heat blast. Arizona is not for everybody, but you can stay cool and do things, like he said. There are movies, casino's, museums and other things to do, so you don't get cabin fever. Lake Pleasant has a huge slide you can slide into the lake in the marina, lots to do there.
