The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) should promptly acquire the land and provide the appropriate or attractive compensation to the land owners along the route. Regrettably, the circle rates for these areas are extremely low, and these are unauthorized colonies where market rates are significantly higher. Most of the impoverished families reside in these colonies and have purchased the land through local zameendars with power of attorney. Therefore, the individual with the registry on their name is considered the legal owner on paper, while the acquisition and the residents of these areas possess land rights with general power of attorney. When the government applies compensation, the funds will be distributed to the registered owner, i.e., the legal owner. Currently, the per square foot rates in these areas are approximately INR 5,000, while the government attempts to compensate these poor individuals with around INR 500. These impoverished individuals are the primary victims of the slow and poorly planned development initiatives of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). They have relocated to various parts of Delhi, with over 1600 unauthorized colonies. The government must decide whether to provide financial compensation or extend the timeline. Instead of offering excuses, they should provide three times the land they acquire from these poor individuals in different parts of Delhi. This simple compensation will facilitate the completion of these projects more efficiently.

Excellent update. Delhi-Katra e-way is almost ready in Haryana. In Punjab the progress is slow as at many places the farmers were claiming more compensation. Also state govt is indirectly hampering infra work by central govt. Same was the case in Maharashtra where Uddhav govt was reportedly obstructing construction of Bullet Train elevated track.

One of the slowest work seen in this decade in any of the projects in india that they when only one fly over is made in the last 5 year which took almost 4year. Kejriwal should be punished for making our life hell in delhi
