Jackson, do you do all your own videos and effects? It's pretty darn good. This is not my particular genre of music, but that's because I don't have very good hearing (from all my years as a rocker and spending weeks on end in concert environments, lol), and can't understand the lyrics most of the time. But I have the CC turned on and I love the message! I have another friend who is a recording rap artist , but mostly he is more like the , I don't know what you call the different styles , but I call it more 'militant'? Ex Khan is his name. But he recently put out something very different and sent it to me. It isn't released yet so I can't share it, but I like it. This song playing now has my foot tapping, lol. I don't know the names, but I'm sure it's up there somewhere. I do love the visuals. Just wanted to share that! We talked about collaborating several years ago and do a cover of something in our different styles together. I'm a Stevie/Blondie style, used to be able to do just about anything, hit any note. Once I was recording background vocals with a studio musician, and when he played it back, I sounded terrible! I was embarrassed. He kept adjusting something and it just seemed like it couldn't be corrected. I asked him to try letting me do it without the enhancement and then maybe we could figure out what the problem was. Without any tweeking, it was pitch-perfect, lol. He was just so used to thinking EVERYTHING and EVERY voice needed finessed, so he recorded that way. He was very surprised and so was I! Sadly, he recently passed away and I didn't have access to his catalogue, we parted on sour notes. You know how that is. And now I can't sing a note, circumstances have taken all that I used to love and enjoy and I can't even do that one thing that I could do alone or with someone. Sing.
