Thanks for the reaction. Since Daneliya 'swore off' competing, I think reactions are one of the few ways that her work can be spread to new audiences. I wish there were more. Anyone who digs into Daneliya's past performances might be shocked to see how long she has been at this--at such a high level. Her current originals are angst-ish (so far), suggesting to some that she is struggling now with the toll it may have taken on her. But if you watch any of her 'writing' vlogs, you realize she has dealt with the huge pressure admirably (she displays quite a sense of humor), and these new 'delving' songs are as much about flexing her writing muscles as anything else (my take). I'm crazy about her voice, but I prefer her unique mid-lower register best (a mystery when you consider how small she is). She really owns that. Of her songs (not covers), this is the one I like the most--as much for the visuals as the song. Several people have stated that this "Memories" Lyric Video is screaming to be a theme song for some series or Movie. I'm one of those and wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks for reacting. ❤. I love the song. Vocal is strong. As I don’t know her, I cannot really be sure. But currently she seems free and happy, and at ease perhaps. But I could always be wrong. I have been feeling like she’s kind of processing her childhood in these new songs.

I agree with you. This is her processing her childhood. That is why I think this is about her mom. Ever since she won The Voice Kids, her and her mom have been traveling all over the world constantly. Always meeting adults you don't really know. Put in party like atmosphere around these people. The Lyrics really tell her story and when you listen to them. "I was tryna take some time and space to love you. Cause I can put nobody else above you" Boston to Kazakhstan is definitely Time and Space. "Since I was young something's watching over me. I have had so many dreams born from secrets that I keep". I even think "Only Pain" is in the same thought. I don't think she has had a serious romantic relationship to write about like this. The only serious relationship is with her mom. Anyway that's my theory. I'm pretty sure I am right. Maybe not.
