Serve as a Christian, leave as a Christian? Part of our service is seeking justice! If a church “leader” commits a crime, we are not to simply leave and not say anything. Have you NOT been paying attention to where your method gets us?? We have major church scandals going on, and if we do not demand justice, we are a very poor witness for Christ. In addition, we leave wolves in the pulpit, which leads others straight to hell. Why don’t y’all just shut up and quietly serve? This is one of the best Christian podcasts I’ve heard in a long time. Uplifting, humorous,honest, truthful unafraid to stand even if alone and inspiring. I could listen to this over again. Rebecca is very capable and has a personality that God uses!

It IS our job to uncover corrupt leaders - it just shouldn't be done LIGHTLY and there is a Biblical process that involves multiple witnesses. When those conditions are met, we are COMMANDED to hold leaders accountable: Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, doing nothing from partiality. (1 Timothy 5:19-22)

Yes. If you are in a church where the leadership has forgotten God, then leave! You do NOT have to stay. Let God take care of them.

This is insane gaslighting that enables abusive leaders to continue abusing the body of Christ. 1 Timothy 5:19-20 demands that elders in continued sin be rebuked publicly "so that the rest may stand in fear"
