Back to the question of how we hear God. I spend quiet time with Him when I first get up in the morning. It is the most enjoyable time of my day. I look forward to that special time with Him and I feel His presence, the peace that only comes from Him alone. His Word gives me the comfort and assurance that I need to navigate through troubled times, always reminding me that He is with me, most times through the scriptures or a song. But I know His voice. thank you for inviting us into your world. so excited for you both and the expectancy of your third child (a daughter). In answer to your question, how do I hear from God? I would agree, He speaks a lot through His Word, it is a dialogue when reading it. I have heard an audible voice at times, very clear, and also through His messengers (Pastor's sermons and people's testimonies). He wants to speak to us, we just need to be willing to listen. I love the song, "Word of God Speak, won't you pour down like rain, washing my eyes to see your majesty. To be still and know that you're in this place, please let me stay and rest in your Holiness, Word of God speak." Wishing you all the best with labor and delivery. Can't wait to hear her name. Part of me wants to guess Grace. :)
