The cover art, while being great, shows Linda Castle on the front page. It's something that's been bothering me ever since the gameplay trailer. the key art for the poster puts Linda on the spotlight. Out of the 4 main casts, why her? The others could have been the poster child and for good reasons; Christine is the director of their film project, Jaime is an actor playing the main role, Robert has ties with the town thanks to Sam, even Jacket girl could have been on the front page since the trailers indicates she will play a major role in this story despite being from the future. So why Linda? Just because she looks cool (which, design wise, she is imo), or is there more to her than we realize?

everyone is assuming that because the trapper will be getting a frank stone mask, that frank wont be a killer i actually took it as frank will be visually different enough by the end of the game to justify giving trapper his mask, maybe he'll be a full on monster by then. i think a spider of a sort would be quite fitting, given how his mask looks. it wouldnt be the first time the entity has heavily modified someone to be a killer for it.

It’s great to finally get a release date for this highly likely “killer displaced in time” plot thread game. Bad news is that Sept 3rd is when I am starting out on a trip around Greece and its islands. Not too upset though; Dead by Daylight is not one of my favorite properties.

I do think because trapper has the Frank Stone mask I doubt that he will get an original chapter. But I am really hopeful! There will also be an original survivor in a midchapter and this is making me think it might be a character from CoFS, which hoping I am wrong. By having Frank Stone in the game I think it would be perfect and people who play DBD will fall in love w him and want to play CoFS. Aswell by making CoFS a chapter it will strengthen BHVRs bond with Supermassive games hopefully bringing in an Until Dawn or Quarry chapter

In the quarry (their other game) the cutting floor means that when a character dies you have the decision to rewind back to the choice that caused them to die, and you got three chances to use this. If your still confused I would try looking it up.

I've been thinking about how the 80s and the present times will work and i have two theories, either we switch timelines after a chapter, or just like the curator, we get a small segment from the present between chapters as the story progress. I'm leaning towards the former since the whole cursed film is a major plot point and jacket girl seems to have some importance in the story

It’s likely that the new dbd chapter in December will have Frank as the killer, Cedar Steel as the map and the director as the survivor, the Rellik Dolls (no idea what “Rellik” means) are little dolls of some DBD killers (Susie of The Legion, The Trapper, and The Hillbilly). Also, can anyone tell me if we’ve heard of a “Horologium” device? The website lists it as the name of the huge device that looks a lot like the Universal Terminus charms and the Haunted by Daylight hooks. I’d class myself an expert on DBD and its lore but I can’t recall we’ve ever heard of it before

How come they are doing a game on a new character instead of doing short games based on the original DBD characters before that darkness takes them

it seems like we will play as the old woman (Bonnie?) if the journal she picks up is gameplay, which would make 7 playable characters with the main 4, jacket girl and the police officer. I wonder if they are more playable characters.

Less than a week from official international launch. The grenade hud is massive for how little information it gives you. Sandlot couldn’t incorporate it as part of the radar or have it displayed at the top of the screen.
