I’m so freaking excited for this, the original will always be my childhood as I played it with my two siblings! So I’m glad to be able to play this remaster with all new details, mechanics and graphics.

I do miss how grainy and gross the darker parts of the world look, like the thinner lakes. That early 2000s/ early 2010s muddy look really made the game stand out to me as a kid. The game just felt overall creepy and abandoned. Although the real test will be Mickeyjunk Mountain on whether the vibes are still the same. Overall though, the remake looks incredible and I’m excited to get my hands on it.

As a new player that never got around to playing the original I was wondering what differences there were lol, thanks for this solid video!

Just played the demo, gameplay wise this game is fire! It controls so smoothly and camera angles are so much better compared to the wii. But darker tone feels lost in the switch version. Not bad though.

I like it but also kinda dont like it its supposed to be a messed up world since mickey screwed with it

The wii dragon is nightmare fuel.

While redesign is a lot better graphics wise and more vibrant. I gotta say the original just has that classic cartoon look that hits harder

I think its cutcene times is bit faster than original but I like the moveable cursor from original, which won't be on pc version as my guess

The only thing I wish they could’ve done for Rebrushed is getting Chris Diamantopoulos to voice Mickey.

Something I like about the new design of the dragon is the fact it's an actual bridge now, though I think I like the creepy looking face from the original more.

tbh there are some things that I much prefer from the original but they both look really good

How on earth did you get gameplay for a game that’s not released yet?

I’m very excited, but am torn at it being a remake. With a simple remaster, it could have retained the art direction and run at 60fps on Switch. 3D platformers should be 60fps, no matter the graphical sacrifices.

Why is there no voice acting thats just annoying the second one had it

Still prefer the gloomy atmosphere of the original and Remake seems too bright and colorful... Glad i still have my wii copy so hard pass on the remake.
